Vintage/Antique Sewing Table

Hi all,  I happen upon this awesome sewing table with inlaid ruler/measuring tape and would like to know more about it.   Perhaps one or more of you can provide some historical information.  I'm interested in the era of the piece, what the wood type is and the approximate value?

Any information would be greatly appreciated as I have researched antique sewing tables and haven't had much success. - Thank you so much,  MaryMary

Do the drawers open? It seems like it's a cutting table though not sure it's deep enough for fabrics.

Looks like a home made piece. Made for a person that needed to measure something small. Hard to tell the age without seeing the side of the drawers and underneath the piece. Could of been made in the 50's  to the 70's.

Nice. It's a cool piece but seems like it was made to order not mass produced. Might have been for a knitter.
