Ewer Pitcher. Republic? Copper? Plate?

I could use some help with this pitcher.

It appears to be copper that the silver plate has worn from.  There's signs of copper oxidation inside. 

It's really crude. 

You can see the solder of the spout; and the spout inside the pitcher has a lip and isn't flush

The handle appears to be pot metal.

Overall about 8" tall

I don't recognize the maker, and can't find anything.

It's interesting in funky kind of way

Any help greatly appreciated.

Made in the United Arab Republic.  Hopefully this link will work. If it fails then just enter a search for "United Arab Republic Copper" and while I didn't find your identical ewer there are several items here on eBay that you can glean some info from.
