Can you identify the flags on this Wooden Ship?

This wooden ship has been in storage for well over 50 years.  All I was told that it belonged to one of my great-grandfathers (one was Danish one was Norweigian - not sure which one!!) I didn't even realize there was color to this ship and flags until I cleaned it today.  Can anyone help me with the year and origin of this ship?  Thank you!

Daish flag is red with a white cross running through it. Norweigan flag is similiar only red, white and blue and the very end is a bit different. None of these pictured are them. My father had a similar boat when I was a child which was in the 60's. He was Danish. It was his Viking ship. His boat was different at the ends than yours.

The $ sign comes from the columns on the side of the shield with the ribbons wrapped around them.
