Any info on these Chairs would be appreciated

I purchased these Chairs are an Estate sale elderly lady said they were her fathers who was a Mason. The underside is covered with Burlap (like old feed bags) that are very dry and crumbling in places but attached for the most part. Chairs are Dark Green Thick possibly Leather to look at it but almost feels like heavy vinyl. It is tacked all around with Brass tacks. Would appreciate any information or a direction to go in, Not an expert on Chairs one bit, but they are gorgeous.  Thanks in advance Michelle

To my eye, appear to be late 1940s/early 1950s when magnolia green and leather chairs were popular.  Someone else may have a different opinion.

Agree with Deborah, 1950's to me. Dining chairs or perhaps lounge/bar area.
