ahhhh (kicking back with a chai latte grande.) We are twice now on the same page! What a day! New booth in the co-op, 5 times bigger than the old one. Sold $45 worth of semi-decent costume jewelry just setting up! Got to get back to finding stuff in the garage. I AM having fun seeing stuff I haven't even SEEN in 10 years! Dave

Hey, Mary, it ain't what it looks like or smells like or whatever. If you don't LOVE it, it will hurt you bad. If you DO love it, it will hurt you bad. You can't win. You can only play the game. Hunting is the fun part. Finding is the fun part. Haggling is the fun part. Playing shop keep is the fun part. Cleaning is not the fun part. Inventorying is not the fun part. Pricing is the hard part. Selling is the hard part. I'm about to sell some vaseline glass I've had for over 30 years. It is going to a friend and collector and, in fact, the part owner of the co-op. But it's time for someone else to love it. Still hard to part with it. Never find another rolled edge bowl and candlestix from the '20s-'30s. In fact, in over 45 years in this business/hobby/passion/obsession I have never seen another set in this magnificent color. Sigh. You see what you're up against. And this is just one item! LOL Dave

Mod-A-Rater - please move to appropriate Thread as you see fit.... Another Old V'Art confession.... I am not really an antiquer, folks, i am an artist & old world craftsman that appreciates the finer things of the past, and being a pack rat, i tend to be a magnet... I really need to get my art on my eBay store cuz $ is gone... if any of you out there actually enjoy eBay listing, Pweezze consider letting me hire you to take my pix & verbage & do it justice - art is nothing if not seen - i dont have wages to offer, but take a good percentage ... many of my pieces are appraised in the 1k range... the name of my eBay store is - how original - Old Village Art
