Help Please With Sterling Pendant (?). Is it a Pendant and Does Anyone Recognize the Marks

Hello,

I have had this piece for a while, and I can't really settle on what it is.  I am guessing it is some sort of pendant.  It has prong set purple stones.  It measures 1 2/3" long and it is heavy.  It has two marks on the back-one on each side.  I can make out 925 on one side, (it does test out as sterling silver) and three other marks on the other side.

Hoping someone out there recognizes this piece and can tell me what it is and who made it.
