eBay’s new 2 step verification method gives you access to a secure and convenient form of protection. Even if someone knows your password, 2 step verification provides an extra layer of security designed to prevent unauthorized access to your account. Use your mobile eBay app to receive a notification for sign in approval.
How to set it up two-step verification:
- Download the latest eBay app
- Sign in to your account on your eBay app
- Go to My eBay -> Settings -> Signing in -> 2 step verification
- Turn on eBay Verify
- Now, try to log into your account from another device such as your desktop. You will receive a notification on your eBay app to approve the sign in.
