Buying and selling cards within the eBay vault is seamless and hassle-free. You can create new card listings in the eBay vault with high-quality images and pre-populated listings, just like you do on eBay.com.
All cards are inspected by independent CGC, CSG, and PSA grading companies as a part of Authenticity Guarantee before they’re stored in the eBay vault, so buyers can be confident their purchases are genuine. Following inspection, sellers receive high-quality photos of their card from the inspection facility.
When you list your eligible card, a blue Authenticity Guarantee badge will appear on your listing. When a buyer purchases your card, you’ll ship it to the authenticator for inspection. The authenticator will check the sealed plastic holder for signs of tampering before verifying that the holder and label are authentic to the grader. The label is also checked against the listing details. Cards are not regraded.
Transfer ownership of your card in seconds
Card ownership can be transferred in seconds—no need to re-authenticate, re-package, or ship an item anywhere. When cards are shipped from the eBay vault, we provide expert packing and insured shipping. Buyers can opt to send eligible trading card purchases that aren’t already in the eBay vault at checkout directly to the vault for authentication and safe storage.
Sales tax is not charged for items sent to or traded within the eBay vault. Card owners are responsible for remitting applicable taxes when they withdraw their cards from the eBay vault, and eBay will collect the taxes as lawfully required.
