Here’s how it works: as of November 5, 2014, whenever a buyer from one of the 34 countries listed above makes an eBay Money Back Guarantee request for an item not received, leaves negative or neutral feedback, and/or low detailed seller ratings for ship time, eBay will automatically remove these transaction defects (so long as the transaction has no other defects and you have resolved any issues promptly with your buyer).

So don’t miss out—sell with confidence to millions of eager international buyers now. Just include the above countries as those you’ll ship to in the shipping details section of your listings. That way, they’ll show up for buyers in these countries automatically. Or—if you’d like your international transactions handled for you—find out how eBay’s Global Shipping Program makes selling to more than 60 countries as easy as domestic.

This post was updated on December 4, 2014 to correct the number of countries served by eBay’s Global Shipping Program.

I asked ebay how much it would cost so sell a one ounce international priority mail to Germany, if I offered free shipping, I was told by the ebay rep. we dont know not even a

ruff Idea. So I put the shipping on the customer.

After many counter offers we agreed on a price, great all set I thought.

Then I received an email from the buyer the deal is off It will cost me 67 Euro's. for shipping. I had to send him an invoice thru paypal since the item was in his cart on ebay.

I called Ebay and demanded an explanation they said the shipping should only by 16.00 dolars and the rest is some

kind of import duty tax imposed by Germany.

I Think I was "played" by the experienced buyer because he wanted to have the item marked as a gift (to avoid the import tax ? )  Then When I went to the post office it cost me 40.00 dollars to ship one ounce with insurence. So much for ebay quote of 16.00

I asked ebay if I had used their global shipping if it would have cost me the same amount they said probably a little less. so if global shipping does not give you specifics on the shipping, seller beware. Has any one else had this type of experience?
