Important reminder: Effective October 26, any listings identified as duplicates will be automatically ended and sellers will be limited to one Fixed Price listing per identical item or up to five listings if the item is made to fit specific products, models or brands.

Take action before October 26 to end your duplicate listings and ensure uninterrupted selling:

  • Use the duplicate listing look-up tool to quickly identify and download a complete file of your duplicate listings.

  • Revise your best performing listing to reflect the total quantity of items you have available for sale.

  • End all other duplicate listings.

If you do not take action before October 26, eBay will retain your best performing listing, end your duplicate listings, and credit your Insertion Fees and listing upgrade fees on your next invoice. We will not, however, revise your best performing listing to add the total quantity of items you have available for sale.

Get more information about the new duplicate listing policy, what eBay considers duplicate listings, and what to do with your listings.

Please note: This announcement, originally published on October 5th 2010, was updated on October 27th, 2010 to remove the link to the duplicate listing look-up tool. The duplicate listing look-up tool was designed to help sellers identify and act on their duplicate listings before the duplicate listing policy went into effect. The duplicate listing look-up tool has been discontinued after the duplicate listing policy went into effect on October 26th 2010.
