We have been doing 4 Swaps a year, one for each season. Today is the start of our Spring Swap. This one is going to be different then our normal swaps. Its simple and easy to do. You may sign up only 2 times and this will be a direct swap with the person who is your partner. We had a suggestion from Lisa awhile back on an idea she had, so we are going to incorporate it in this swap. when you are given your partners name you will send them a ACEO that you have not finished. It could be one you started and just couldn't figure out how to finish, or you can start one and leave it unfinished. You will send this ACEO to your partner who in turn will send you one of theirs. When they are done everyone can post them to see the results.
1.Post your name and email address in this thread
2.Swap is open from 5-7-13 to 5-17-13 at which time it will be locked
3.On 5-18-13 list of partners will be posted
Do not sign up if you can not follow through.

Thanks, Leola. I will try Chrome. I remember I tried Mozilla firefox & got the same message about having too many images posted & I should delete some. (even after I had deleted all my photos from my album). It's just so weird that I can't upload in here. No errors pop up. It just does nothing after I hit the add button.

Here is the wonderful card I received from Beverly Goding titled: "Spring Tulips". Isn't it beautiful? I love it! Oh, and Bev, that card I sent you wasn't finished. I just sketched out the horse. You can embellish and finish it however you want!!! Wow,l have no idea why this image is so huge!!!

Lovely. It's great to see all the different ideas that are being developed.
Not so much by what happens to you, as by the way your mind looks at what happens. - Khalil Gibran ~ Poet

okay
rebecca sent this amzing little watercolor of a half of a face. right away i saw one of those moments in a movie when someone is having a 'flash-back memory" of someone they loved. It was all grey watercolor so i imagined the person was older looking back on a "vivid Memory" from the last time he took his wife out dancing and how amazing she looked......
this is the before and after....
wait - photos not working ill tr again

ok - this is 2 of 2 for the spring swap (theres a third.... but i just dont have ideas for it yet....)
This one was a pretty blue watercolor that looked like a snowman. The way it was oriented on the card it appeared to be 'falling over' i thought... "looks like frost had a couple too many at the christmas party" .... and the idea just stuck.... so - Frosty "tied one on" at the christmas party this year.... (Quervo was his drink of choice - i guess the elves were making margsritas"
