Below standard changes

Final value fees for sellers who do not meet eBay’s minimum performance standards will increase by 4 percentage points on items sold on or after May 1, 2017. To make sure you’re meeting eBay’s minimum selling requirements, follow our selling best practices and check your seller dashboard regularly.

Thanks for attaching that Pneguin.  I am not pleased with what it has to say.  Clothing FVF's for stores will now be 9.15% instead of 9%.  Also, TRS+ listing will now only get you a 10% discount instead of 20%.  eBay is cutting corners and we store owners are the ones that will pay for it.

Wow, that's a real "Good news, bad news" mix.

Best "Good news":  "We’re removing third-party product listing ads across the eBay platform effective May 1, 2017. "

I predict that the greatest noise will be around the increase to 95% for "tracking uploaded within your handling time" TRS , and the TRS-Plus credit being reduced from 20% to 10%.

Really?  Really??

Raise the store FVF on almost everything by .15% AND reduce the TRSP discount to 10%.

Instead of 7.2 cents on the dollar (for the TRSP store subscriber), it's now 8.235

The tracking upload TRS requirement changes to 95% too.

Looks like they are going to start really pushing and try to cash in with the promoted listings.

Yep ... Store "rent" was increased last year ... this year an FVF increase ...

The screws are being tightened on the "on time" shipping metric for TRS up to 95% ... with a decrease in the TRSP discount 😞 Along with the decreasing Comm Plus Rates, this one is really nasty 😞 What carrot is eBay using to encourage TRS sellers? All I see is stick 😞

The only semi-good I see is that they are getting rid of 3P ads that lead buyers off of eBay (replacing them with Promoted Listings)

Removal of prominent third party ads to elevate your promoted listings

We’re removing third-party product listing ads across the eBay platform effective May 1, 2017. We will begin replacing the ads with eBay promoted listings at that time, with additional placements coming over the course of the year. Sellers have asked for increased visibility and for removal of ads which take buyers off eBay. With these changes, we are taking strides to provide sellers more opportunity to get added visibility and velocity for their items and to reduce competition from external ad sources. Limited third-party advertisements will continue to be displayed.

Basically, just a group of fee increases.

The promoted listings in my experience have become steadily less effective the longer the program has been in effect, but YMMV.

Promoted ads do nothing nada zip zilch for the one of a kind seller.  They can only be used for multi-quantity listings.

And what happens when you have multiple sellers paying for promoted listings for the same items?  Who gets top billing (if they all pay the same rate)?

Short and sweet (Lol)........sounds like they have finally "learned" not to include many "further changes" that aren't ready yet.......

I'd guess we are going to see alot more stuff..........but at least fee changes and store changes are off the table.......that relieves some anxiety........
