I don't see any indication that it will accommodate multiple "ship from" locations.

Hi partial*eclipse - this rate table tool is much more flexible than you might have experienced with the current rate tables - the main change that helps in this regard is that the new rate table allow you to specific ship costs to up to 100 different regions / zones in US (used to only be 1 zone)- so as dhbookds pointed out if you have warehouse in CA, and NY your ship costs to those markets can be kept low - by reflecting these costs in rates tables. Previously you would have only been able to offer low ship costs from one of your locations.  BUT just to clarify - eBay wont store multiple account addresses, we'll still only have 1 account address - but the seller will be able to reflect their distribution capabilities better. Hope that helps..

@d-k_treasures i definetly like the shipping and handling sections of it. this part was needed a long time ago, so im very glad to see it implemented soon.

keithharrierenterprises - thanks! We're excited too. Sellers have been asking for this level of control to best represent their actual shipping costs by region, and we're happy to be delivering this finctionality soon.

Pick a region and your days. ^^^

I have read the FAQ and I do not understand how this is better than regular calculated shipping.  It certainly could help avoid some of the  shipping calculator issues that keep coming up with FedEx or UPS, but eBay denies that those problems exist. Is it more relevant to sellers with certain specific merchandise, or who use freight? Can you give an example?

Hi partial*eclispe - rate tables are different because they allow you to state you own shipping costs / charges - rather than relying on eBay's calculated shipping to calculate on your behalf. You will have more control to specifically state charges your buyers see depending on where they are located - which helps avoid any isues with over / under charging.. Does this help?

@greg_shipping

Welcome to the party Greg 😉

Question ... how will the flat rate tables integrate with combined shipping rules, if at all?

Same question re Business Policies?

Hi penguins_dont_fly - getting back to you shortly...
