Seller doesn't respond after I sent back the watch due a warranty problem
I bought a TISSOT watch on eBay. The watch has a problem after 2 months and I asked the seller about could I bring to local Tissot service (it was original, registered on Tissot site) but they asked me to send back as "it is our responsibility". After they got the watch with tracked parcel, they doesn't communicate, doesn't respond on my letters, only 2 time they asked what was the tracking number and eBay number...and still no communication, it 30 days has gone. I will proceed a legal action. The law enforcement agency (EU so no problem) will submit a formal request for information through the appropriate legal channels and eBay fully cooperates with law enforcement authorities and will provide any necessary information upon receiving a valid legal request. I have the postal certificate about CRM received the watch at the address provided. Do you have any experience, is it a proper way or how could I speed up the process. Sooner or later I will get the watch or money, but needs extra time and effort for both parties...

·1 year agoAnother comment: It sounds like you didn't open a return request through the order. Had you done that and had the seller accepted the return, you would have "ebay acceptable proof" of the return and if the seller didn't issue the refund, you could ask ebay to step in.
The thing is that after 30 days, the seller isn't obligated to accept the return even if defective. But since he agreed to accept the return, you should have done it through the order. Then the seller wouldn't be able to ignore you.

·1 year agoCan you do a chargeback on the funding source? If you paid via charge card, I'd try that first.

·1 year agoI assume you have tracking showing that it was delivered back to the seller, right?
Use that tracking to prove to your credit card company that you returned the item but didn't get the promised refund.

OP11 months agoHi, I started a PayPal issue, it is in progress. I am looking forward the final result.
In addition, I tried to call this "censored name" shop's customer service, based on the company's name and official web page, I wrote direct letter to the customer service found on same page, but no answer. Strange, as parallel they are selling watches on eBay but closed all the communication.
As I have relatives live close (Ireland, Blessington) they will be visited, just to check what is on the address?
