Hi, Having worked in the retail field in different venues for waaaaay too long - I think that this is just the normal ups & downs of retail sales. Everyone has an opinion as to why this happens. But trying to figure it out will likely drive you cukoo. All that one can do is to "keep at it." Use this slow time to put up a few new items or maybe tweak a few of your existing offerings. Your business will come back around - it always does. Dont' stress over this. Life is too short. Good Luck!
I just posted a very similar inquiry. No sales in 8 days after averaging 1 sale every three days, so something had to change. This is the exact reason I left Mercari so I hope they fix whatever is happening.
Perhaps if we lived in a world without Tarriffs, Tarriff threats, violations of our constitution, attacks on the Judiciary, attempts to quash Free speech, threats to our established legal processes, disregard for our nation’s security, refusal to stand with our Allies, and disregard for due process the public would exhibit more of a willingness to part with their expendable income.
The way things are now the extreme uncertainty that has been caused by the current administration has had a definite and drastic effect on spending.
No, this is eBay and sometimes sales get wonky, whether because of buyers or eBay itself. The monster moves, the monster roams, the monster does what it wants.
