Custom size functionality missing from clothing categories on web
On web, several clothing categories require the seller to select a preset size and don't give an option for a custom size.
Have size 41 jeans? 41 is not a one of the size options in Men's Clothing > Jeans category, so you have to enter '40' or '42,' even if the garment label is explicitly 41. There are no decimal-incremented preset options, either.
In Men's Clothing > Shirts > Casual Button-Down Shirts, no neck sizes whatsoever are available to choose from, so if your Robert Graham short-sleeved all-over-print shirt is size '16.5', you have to put it in the 'Dress Shirts' category (which has presets for neck sizes) even though it's clearly not a dress shirt. Dress shirt brands like Stenstroms use quarter neck sizes, like 16 1/4 or 17 3/4, so switching the category to 'Dress Shirts' isn't a solution in that case. In the Stenstroms case, like with the 'Jeans' case, you have to enter an incorrect size if you want to list your listing, or give your best estimate of neck size to letter size translation, which is messy/subjective.
iOS and API still allow custom size values, but web is forcing you to choose a preset size in an increasing number of categories.
This is at best confusing and at worst misleading to buyers to have '32' as the size specific in the Men's Clothing > Pants category when the tag says 33 and the waist measures 33".

·2 months agoI just posted about this very issue yesterday. No size "33" available for clicking in Men's Jeans. Also, cannot put in multiple sizes like we used to be able to for variation listings. So frustrating.
