      Fraud (promoting)

So, I’ve noticed a pattern. If you don’t promote your card, the actual views don’t show up for 12-24 hours. Almost like EBay is hiding views to mandate that you promote your listing. Have others experience this. Let me know, we will stop this!

Seller Canceling Auctions After Winning Bids: What Can Buyers Do?

I recently won an auction on a live stream, only to have the seller cancel the transaction and issue a refund, claiming the card was worth more than the final bid. This felt unfair as I was not at fault for their oversight. What measures can buyers take to ensure sellers honor auction sales, especially when there's no apparent way to contest the seller's decision once a refund is issued? Can community members share their experiences or offer advice on potential actions or policies that could protect buyers in such situations? I have clear proof from the seller stating "this card was sold at a significantly lower price then the market value" but when I tried negotiating on the price, the seller would not budge and I ultimately paid for what they were asking for.

2025 A Word From Potus cards

Still having problems with the "2025 A Word From Potus" cards being shipped to Ebay's authenticator, only to have Ebay label them as "miscategorized" and not authenticated. An unnecessary delay that Ebay could fix if they really cared about their customers. I've had sellers tell me they tried to fix this problem with Ebay and Ebay basically ignored them. Some sellers send directly to me when I provide my address, while others feel Ebay will hold up their funds if they do so. The bottom line is that Ebay should coordinate with the sellers so that these will stop being shipped to authenticator. This is, after all, the 21st century, Ebay. This SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM.

Cards saying our for delivery, but "never" getting delivered

I'm having to make this conversation because this week alone I have had 2 buyers open claims against me stating cards were haven't been delivered and the tracking information says out for delivery, but had been saying out for delivery for 2-3- weeks now. Am I just suppose to lose out of cards and money because USPS can't properly scan a tracking barcode when delivering my standard envelopes?? Have any other sellers have this problem?

      Unfair eBay Practices

I had 2 2019 Epoch Shohei Ohtani One & Only cards that were a Numbered Limited Edition of Only 11 of each card. Now, both of these cards were Professionally Graded By PSA & All Certification Numbers were Verified. There was Only 3 of these 11 cards Graded By PSA; (2) PSA8'S & (1) PSA9. I had (1) of the PSA8'S AND THE ONLY PSA9. I sold the PSA8 that I had; 2 weeks later, I sent a message to the buyer and offer to buy the Only PSA9 of this card for $100 more than what he paid for 1 of the 2 PSA9'S that he already purchased. He in turn didn't hesitate a minute for that offer. Both transactions were handled through eBay, so they got payment for their selling fees. All honest & straight forward. Under the eBay Authenticity Guarantee, they ALLEGEDLY found an issue with a PSA Graded baseball card, but would NOT revile the Reason. My buyer received a FULL REFUND on a $750 purchase, and as the seller; I kept my income that I made from this purchase. I am so frustrated and confused. My buyer Never received or requested a refund on this Extremely Rare & Expensive sports card. I keep my money from selling it, the buyer received a full and complete refund; & eBay TAKES POSSESSION OF IT!! I don't care whether you are an eBay seller, an eBay buyer, or both. I don't care how you look at this situation, eBay took over control of this rare sports card by false pretensions, and that is Totally Unfair to My Repeat Customer, & Makes Me Look Bad as a Seller. My buyer is just as confused as I am about the decision by eBay. I want any kind of response from the eBay community about their thoughts. But, I believe that eBay is using unfair tactics, I completed 2 fair and honest transactions on a rare graded sports cards to the same buyer within a 2 week period; and eBay pretty much TOOK POSSESSION OF THE 2nd ONE, My Buyer Should File A Complaint Against eBay, I would. What Are Your Thoughts???

      Canceled After Purchase

Seeking some insight or others with similar issues. Been a collector of pokemon TCG for years and recently have been subject to cancelled orders on here. Not just a cancelled order but they pay THEN ask for a refund. And it's always obscure reasons....I was in class and didn't get the notification or my kid did this. However, this person also upbid 4-5 times in order to win. Any suggestions on dealing with these situations in the future. I know the cancel is a "request" and can be denied but will likely result in poor feedback for my store. Thanks

      Switching to card saver ESE

I know this topic has been beaten to death. I just started shipping some lower value cards ebay standard envelope. Inexperienced in it. Was using a top loader in an armalope. I’m aware now that just seems too stiff and rigid. So far they’ve gone through but only a matter of time. I figure now switching to a card saver in the armalope. Not the most cost effective but I got a pack a while back. Think that would be good to go? I know alot of people use PWE I’ve seen alot of different ways and perspectives.

      Trading card packaging

Generally I use the eBay envelops that come with the hard backing to mail off my cards to buyers. I put the card in a penny sleeve, type 1 loader, and team bag then tape it to the hard backing that comes with the envelope.  I try to keep costs low for both myself and the buyer (Generally $0.68 cost to me, $0.86 to buyer).   Question is: Do buyers care if it comes in a secured envelop or would they prefer a small card bubble mailer?                            Is there another way that you ship cards out?   Thanks!

      eBay authentication

Anyone else having horrible experience with eBay authentication and PSA?  I purchased a card and tracking said it had been delivered to PSA.  It’s been almost two weeks and nothing.  eBay says they have lost the card.  Took almost two days of speaking with different agents to get someone to acknowledge it was lost.  They refunded my money but I really wanted the card.  Very disappointing.
