Vintage GI Joe identification outfit?
I cannot find this particular outfit and wondered if anyone knew anything about it? It had tags on both piece but someone cut part of it off but you can see the TM in the corner and the top of where it had said GI Joe. Both piece has plastic snaps. The outfit is black

·3 years agoThe football shirt or whatever that is not Gi joe. Neither are the plaid paints. There were some sport figures. Maybe the shirt belongs to an athlete. Google the name of the team and the team number and see what you come up with.
The plaid pants could be Barbie. I'm thinking of something for Ken.

·3 years agoOver the last few days when I had some time I've tried finding some online GI Joe sites with identification info for the 11.5" fgures. I found some blogs, but they are older and haven't had any comments in years. Most of the other sites I found were not much help. If you deal with the figures on a regular basis You might want to consider buying one of the GI Joe collector books.
The cammo pattern in the photo you provided is probably from the 1990s prior to the introduction of the digital patterns that were introduced in the early 2000s. Whether it was a standard pattern or one specific to a theater of operations, I cannot say. It may be one used by the USAF or Marines. If you can do a search of U.S. Miltary cammo patterns you may be able to find one close to what you have and a time frame for it use, which could narrow down when it was used on the figures. Ex: an Operation Desert Storm uniform.

OP3 years agowanted to add that the pants when I looked again appears tan white and black but the shirt is black grey and white
