Seller Declined My Order Cancelation Request -- No reply back, still no shipping.
The Item ID is as follows 236609539036 The Order Number is 12-14323-29893
Bought it on March 5th. Noticed it was heading to a week and I never got a tracking number. I requested to cancel my order, but it got denied today. Not sure if it was the seller who declined it or not. I picked the option that I found someplace cheaper, which is true, it's cheaper on Amazon. So far seller has never replied back to my messages, still no tracking number. I guess I wasn't paying attention or something happened, but when I went to see if the item was shipped and I got a tracking number which was a day or 2 before a week went by without a tracking number, I noticed the item is being shipped from Peurto Rico. I looked at the picture more closely of the item, and it does look like it is deficient. I'm not totally screwed, but I have to wait almost a full month to even do anything.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Recently I had a seller claim they never got notified I bought the item, but at leas they talked to me and so I gave them positive feedback because the deal came through.

You're far too hung up on tracking. It's entirely possible that USPS missed the acceptance scan. All that matters is whether you receive the item within the estimated delivery dates shown in your purchase history or your confirmation email. If you don't receive it by the last of those estimated dates open an item not received case to get a refund. Easy peasy.
I have a strong suspicion that you're desperately trying to find some way to get out of the purchase because you didn't do your pricing homework first (sort of like the way you didn't notice the item location or estimated delivery dates in the listing).

OP5 months agoYeah, no. But whatever. I'm trying to get out of the purchase because seller is not responding. Seller seemed legit until seller is not responding. I should be hung up on tracking. The whole point of a tracking number is to track it to make sure it arrives to where it needs to. However, it's not so much as tracking but the fact the seller rejected the cancelation request but never marked it's been shipped and never responded back to my messages when I asked if it's been shipped.
I had a seller claim they never got notified of the sale so it got sent 2 weeks after purchase. That seller was communicative and I even left positive feedback.

·5 months ago@glacius_inferno The listing says it is located in Puerto Rico, so that checks out. Not sure why you seem surprised about that as you would have seen that in the listing. We read the listing, didn't we?
The seller has a two-day handling time. If you bought it on March 5, they had to ship it no later than March 9. Weekends do not count against handling time.
eBay should show you a range of delivery dates. Take note of the last estimated delivery date. You can file an Item Not Received claim the day after the last estimated delivery date. The seller must respond to that claim by either (a) refunding you or (b) uploading a tracking number that shows the item has been delivered. If they do not respond to the claim, you may ask eBay to step in four days after you file the claim.
Sellers do not have to honor cancellation requests, though it would have been in their interest to do so since you requested it.

OP5 months agoLike I said, I must have not been paying attention or something else because I didn't notice the item was located in Puerto Rico until I looked to see if it got shipped out. I'm usually careful and check to see where the item location is. I could've skipped past that because it said United States.

OP5 months agoI would also like to add item locations on eBay has changed after shipping. Had this happen to me once where the item location changed to my city. Item said it was delivered but nothing there. I checked the tracking number, called USPS and they said the tracking number was for some kind of medical supply delivery. Thankful I did get my money back for that transaction

The estimated delivery time frame if I bought that item today is March 30 to April 17. You replied to @mkaczorsee's question saying you do not remember, but giving that time frame. The last estimated delivery date is given in your Order details You have to wait until one day after that date before you can file an item not received (INR) dispute. If there is tracking showing the item is in the USPS system, they may extend the time before you can ask them to step in.
"Noticed it was heading to a week and I never got a tracking number",
Tracking is not required by ebay, but most sellers use it and upload the number to protect themselves from false item not received claims. They may have taken the item to a P.O. to ship it but lost the postal receipt before they could post it to the listing.
"I guess I wasn't paying attention or something happened, but when I went to see if the item was shipped and I got a tracking number which was a day or 2 before a week went by without a tracking number".
As was alluded to above the seller may have misplaced the postal receipt, or maybe was not able to ship it on time for some reason. What date does it show the shipping label was created and/or there was an acceptance scan? click on the Track item button to get that info.
"I requested to cancel my order, but it got denied today. Not sure if it was the seller who declined it or not".
A cancellation request will not be considered if the item was already shipped. A seller has 3 Calendar days to accept/decline a cancellation request. If they do not respond to one, ebay will close the request and may mark it as declined. Your seller being a new one may not have known how to cancel the transaction or what to do about a refund because their payment is being held by ebay. New sellers have a 21-30 day hold placed on their payments by ebay. On their account the payment status shows Processing or Pending.
"I picked the option that I found someplace cheaper, which is true, it's cheaper on Amazon".
Found an item for less is not a valid reason for requesting a cancellation of a binding transaction.

I think you are reaching. I checked the listing on my 24" monitor and do not see anything wrong with the figures the accessories which are all in their slots, or the box.

OP5 months agoBought March 5th and still says awaiting shipment. Seller never replied. No communication if it has been shipped. This is now March 15th.

OP5 months agoI can't remember, but it's saying Mar 30th-April 17th. I got from ebay if I don't receive it by April 10th to open a did not receive item ticket.
