    Real sound diecast cars?

    Is it possible to insert a small wireless bass woofer/mid range & tweet into a 1/24 or 1/18 diecast car so that when you push a remote button the real sound effects of an idling car, burnout, drag take off or just cruising sounds off?

    Maybe someone or a manufacturer has already created this?

    I suppose with technology nowadays anything is possible.

    Something to think about.

    @foster9,

    As far as  I know, none of the major die cast Mfr.'s have done that yet. It may be something you could propose to one of them, if you can reach A company's product development dept. Something not easily done.

      One problem for doing that I can think of off the top of my head would be getting the right sound for each model.  Would you want a model of your Trans Am to sound like a Ford 351 Cleveland, or a  Plymouth GTX's 426 Hemi, to sound like Chevy 427?   Maybe you can't tell the difference between them, but many of us can.

       For me a static display model would probably only need two sounds Idling, and Revving.  Even then I seriously doubt a small enough woofer/tweeter combo that could fit in a 1/24 - 1/18 model could faithfully reproduce the sounds of those engines, a VW Bug's maybe, but not a muscle car's engine.
