Hello!
I have 2 Michael Jackson Dolls.
Both has exactly same marking on back "1984 MJJ Productions LJN Toys LTD."
But One has BELLY BUTTON and the other is NOT.
And One has METALLIC SCREW on his knee and the other is NOT.
If anyone knows what was made this difference, Please let me know.

The doll with metal rivets at the knee and the belly button may have been an early production model and was changed to reduce costs. They were produced only that one year but there were some skin tone and facial hair variances as well. The doll in the left of your photos seem not to have a swiveling head, and it has pink lips.
do an online search for Michael-Jackson (dot) fandom (dot com) / wiki It appears that some of the dolls, had slightly different hair on the forehead as well. There were 7 different dolls produced and there are links showing all of them on that site.
