Looking to ID this logo on playing card deck
Any vintage sellers out there that recognize this logo on an old deck of playing cards? Google image search does not bring it up. Thanks for your help.

In my last reply I wrote;Â Â "MOST deck's Jokers have the Mfr.'s info on them as do "rules" cards".
Not, All Mfr.'s decks.
 It was a possible solution for trying to figure out what company made the cards, since a reverse image search of the LOGO doesn't turn up any results.

·2 years agoMany times a reverse image of the Joker (or other face cards ect.) will pull up examples. Especially with Jokers. Many people collect vintage Joker cards which also can be more difficult to find. These can be listed in lots (many different Joker cards) and it can take a little searching to find one that matches.

Here we are an hour and a half later, and a few minutes ago the light bulb went on in my head. If you only have the one deck of cards this may not work for you, but... Most deck's Jokers have the Mfr.'s info on them as do "rules" cards.
  If that is the only deck you have you may not want to slice an end open to slide out the bottom/top, card out where those cards usually facing in a different direction are, to see if you can get the info you want. If you have a Hobby Lobby or other craft store near you you can get shrink wrap envelopes to reseal the deck in. If you take a photo of the deck as it is sealed to show it was only opened to get the info, and write that in the description, you could probably get away with listing them as unused if you're considering selling them on ebay.

Now you can date them (roughly) knowing they were made POST (after) mid 1940's. These could of been a collaboration with the ACCO seed company and found another pack of cards with a different version of the logo using the ACCO. YMMV

That image triggered a memory, There is a well known playing card company the Ace Card Co. that has been making decks for Casinos, Poker Rooms and Bridge Clubs, around the world, for years. The image you have looks to be from the 1960s. I tried looking up their logos, but since they made custom cards, labeled for those places, most of the images were from Casino deck, boxes or cards.

·2 years agoDang, I couldn’t find anything either. How old are these cards? Could it be promotional ACCO Seed cards from the early 20th century? Before they went to the green and black logo?
