Happy Holiday Barbies 1996, 1997 & 1998 Why Sold Prices from .99 cents to over $1,000 on Same Doll?
Can anyone explain why the same exact doll, in the same condition and same box often sells for anywhere from as low as .99 cents to over $1,000? Even though some have a Misprint for example, they still sell from very low to very high so that doesn't explain it. I can't understand why anywone would pay $1,000 for a doll that they can literally purchase for .99 cents. I currently have these three dolls, 1996, 97 & 98 Happy Holiday Barbies and some websites say they are valuable and other say they are not. However, on eBay there are hundreds sold starting at 99 cents to over $1,000. PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND THIS. I get that very rare versions are worth much more than very common ones, but that doesn't explain why the same doll is worth so little and so much at the same time. I really need a Barbie expert to reply. Thanks so much,
Sincerely,
Rebekah
