Bought trading card but overlooked damage
Hello,
I bought an expensive pokemon card about a week ago and it is currently being shipped out to me. When I bought it I looked through the seller's 10 uploaded photos of the card and felt it was in acceptable condition for me to get (no creases or bent damage on edges, but a little whitening here and there on back of card is okay for me).
The card is listed as "Typhlosion Holo 17/111 Neo Genesis Pokemon. PSA" and in the item description it is listed as "used" and also "good condition" and not mint or near mint or even excellent. I bought the card with this in mind after going through the pictures.
Just recently, a friend of mine saw the photos and told me about one or two pics that show the card has two small creases at the top of the card and the top edge shows some rubbed edge damage as well. I feel it is my fault not to notice it in the pictures but I feel the pictures did not do a good job at all in showcasing this damage. I also feel the seller should have included these damages in the item description as I would definitely not have bought it if I knew.
I know I am jumping the gun here as the item hasnt arrived yet. I tried contacting the seller to confirm but he hasnt gotten back to me yet. But I want to already request a return and refund knowing about the crease as it is too costly for this kind of condition. Seller has listed a no return policy. Obviously I wont take any action until the item gets here so I can really assess...but I guess my question is...would it be my fault for the oversight of the pictures? As seller did provide a lot of pictures of the card...but like I mentioned earlier, I felt he didnt do a good enough job to get the damage clear on the pictures or in the description so is that his fault? Or should I accept this and live with it?
Thanks for taking the time to read this
