Sandbox is absolutely unusable
I have wasted hours upon hours trying to get sandbox to work for the most basic of scenarios: post a listing, place a bid, purchase an item. It is absolutely unusable for too many reasons to describe. This coming from a developer with over 40 years experience. It's obvious EBay does not dedicate enough resources to make sandbox a reliable option for developers. The other option of posting directly to production for life cycle testing (at my expense) worked a couple of times until EBay precluded my bid/purchase activities according to their shilling policies. It's almost like they don't want us to develop integrations.
- get events not returning a new listing (works in production)
- place bid via front-end fails at signin although signin valid. reset password cannot find resource
- place bid - finally sign in then place bid fails with "cannot connect to server"
- send a message fails every time
- listing links unresponsive
- server not available errors: "our server is down but we'll have things back to normal soon"
Don't waste your time!
