Warning: Canada : #3 black 12p lined paper is a Proof with laid lines added - As per Vincent Graves
Hi folks,
If you're wondering about eBay item [removed by moderator] I actually purchased it and had it sent to Toronto (Vincent Graves Greene) for certification. I warned them that I didn't have a lot of time to ensure that I could return it to the eBay seller so I asked for an upfront assessment. They said that the stamp is not a genuine #3. It is a proof with laid lines added to it and they said that there's something suspicious behind all of the layers of hinges.
Just thought I'd save you the time and money. At least the seller didn't argue and gave me a full refund.

·2 months agoThanks for the tip, but I'm at least five steps ahead of you:
1. Unkown seller on the internet.
2. Fuzzy AND dark pictures.
3. The item description is only one sentence, the rest of their terms are a small book.
4. A no-returns policy means they're hoping you'll just accept that.
5. IT'S FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!
I wouldn't touch it with your hands. They had the nerve to relist it! It may not do anything but you should definitely report it.
