On this day in history.....
This is for all of us, and anything goes! We can post historic events, or personal anecdotes or weird weather events, whatever we like! And I'll start with today being July 17th. In my personal history, on this day in 1978, I hit a sand patch while on my bike, skidded and broke my right elbow along with road rashing my face badly! It hurt, A LOT! But there's always a silver lining, right? When school started , everybody wanted to carry my books and such because I had a whole 6 minutes between classes to navigate the stairs, lol!

Tina Turner wrote this song about her hometown, Nutbush, Tennessee. I like Tina's version of 'Nutbush City Limits" but am going with Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa's performance of it here because I really like their chemistry. No recording studio trickery here, just raw talent.

Dear eBay Support Team, I have an order（ Order number:13-14747-82910）that was paid for 20 days ago , but I have not received any shipping notification from the seller. I contacted the seller a few days ago to request a refund, but my request was denied. I believe the seller may be engaging in fraudulent behavior. I tried to open a case on the eBay website to request eBay’s intervention, but I was unable to complete the process. Therefore, I am reaching out via email for assistance. I have been a loyal eBay user for 10 years , and this is the first time I have encountered such a seller and the first time I have needed to seek help through email. I hope eBay can help resolve this issue so that I can continue using the platform with confidence. Thank you for your assistance.

The all new 100% upgraded Park Cooking Thread
Since the soapbox is coming to an end soon, my friends on our cooking thread that sin started asked that I start a new one over here. So here I am! Everyone feel free to join in and post your favorite recipes or questions or even stuff in daily life! I'll start with a recipe I made up when I had round steak thawed out but I didn't want the hassle of making chicken fried steak. I cut the round steak in 4 manageable pieces. Placed in a 9 X 13 baking pan and sprinkled a package of au jus gravy mix over top, then I put 4 table spoons of butter, one on each piece. I baked it in the oven, preheated to 350°, for about 45 mins. Turned out very well, but the Plumber (my husband) said I needed to cook it at a lower temp for a bit longer, so if I do this again, I'll go 325 and an hour or an hour and 15 mins. I served with mashed potatoes and gravy I made with the pan drippings and green beans. Mom came over last nite with pork steaks so the Plumber grilled them up and brushed them with Blues Hog BBQ Sauce. She made her (gross) creamed (she means snot) peas and potatoes. The Plumber loved them, I still they look like peas in snot! I made broccoli cheddar rice to have instead of the peas and snot! I hope to see everyone here soon! 🙂

Each week of the NFL season we pick who we think will win, and the player with the most games correct is declared the winner for that week. New Discussion Boards? Only Keeping Threads / Content from 2023 Onward?
The entire eBay discussion boards are being re-done. It appears things will drastically change. What about our Favorite Cherished threads here? Will only the threads here from 2023 onwards remain?
