Baselinker - Ebay volume sync. issue - "Invalid shipping package. ErrorCode: 10081"
Hello there,
We use BaseLinker (BASE.COM) to synchronize our product inventory with our eBay listings. Recently, we have encountered an issue during synchronization:
“Invalid shipping package. ErrorCode: 10081” (I'm unable to attach prt screen) — an error message returned by the eBay API that appears randomly for some of our listings during the sync process (not all the listings).
I have reviewed all relevant settings, including shipping policies, and would like to note that no changes were made to our listings prior to this issue occurring.
Could you please advise on how to resolve this problem or point us to the correct technical contact? I would be very grateful for your assistance.

I have recently come across the same error, randomly out of the blue it seems to be appearing more and more. The whole error I am seeing from a developers point of view is USPSLargePack is being added to the live eBay listings for some reason. So when you try to revise your item, even if you have business policies attached, the USPSLargePack is overwriting them and causing issues. I don't know how much help that is, but hopefully it might give you somewhere to look on the listings if you can find a way to get to the old shipping package types section on them.
Although for quite a few of our clients, they can no longer access the setting so essentially stuck. 😬

OP8 months agoThank you for your reply. A short update on the issue: it has been resolved. I was able to contact eBay developer technicians, and they confirmed last night that they identified the problem and fixed it.
