Assistance Needed: Enabling commerce.catalog.readonly Scope for Transition to Catalog API
Hi everyone,
We recently received a notification about the deprecation of eBay’s legacy Finding and Shopping APIs. Currently, we are using the Shopping API in our system to match product codes with eBay product IDs. To prepare for the transition, we’ve already developed an alternative solution that utilizes the Catalog API.
However, we’ve hit a roadblock: our application does not have access to the commerce.catalog.readonly OAuth scope, which is required for the Catalog API. We’re reaching out to understand:
- How to request or enable access to the commerce.catalog.readonly scope for our application?
- Are there any specific steps, prerequisites, or approval processes we need to follow?
