Account Registration Rejected + Production API Access Request – Secondhand Marketplace (Passo)
Hi eBay Developer Support team,
I'm hoping to get some help with two related issues.
1. Developer Account Registration Rejected
I recently tried to register for the eBay Developers Program but received this error upon login:
"Your account registration was rejected due to problems with the data provided or other irregularities."
I believe this was triggered in error — all information I provided is accurate and legitimate. Could someone help with a manual review?
2. Production API Access Request
I'm building Passo (https://passo.to), a peer-to-peer secondhand marketplace for Chinese-speaking communities in the US. Many of these users currently buy and sell through informal WeChat groups — our platform brings that activity into a structured, AI-assisted experience.
I'm looking for read-only access to:
- Browse API / Finding API — for comparable pricing data to power our AI pricing engine
- Taxonomy API — to map item descriptions to eBay categories
- Market Insights — to show sellers demand trends and resale value estimates
Sandbox doesn't have real pricing history, which makes it impossible to validate our AI model. We have a working prototype and are targeting public launch in 60–90 days.
