Hello! This is my first time posting here so I apologize if I fail to mention things that I should be mentioning (?) but I’ll try to be as detailed and as clear as possible. Also, English is not my first language. Anyways, I’ve been wanting to purchase the wallet mentioned in the title as a gift for my boyfriend since his birthday is coming up. Unfortunately, Coach does not ship to my country and when I checked the physical stores, they didn’t have the wallet in stock. So I opted to purchase it through a reseller via Instagram. I checked reviews and asked friends and family to help verify the seller/shop’s authenticity before purchasing, but I still can’t help but overthink it since I am giving this as a gift. If ever it turns out to be a fake (I really hope not though), I’ll try to return this and get a refund. I also have insurance on the payment method I used for this purchase that protects me from fraudulent sellers if ever the seller won’t comply. P.S. Oh I forgot to mention and include in the pictures that there’s a separate dust bag (is that what you call it?) included in the box. It also has the Coach logo on it. Also, part of why I’m overthinking is because I’m not sure how real leather is supposed to smell like since it’s not something I’ve ever paid attention to 😅 The leather isn’t really stiff, I can bend it, but the wallet doesn’t feel soft (one person said that it felt soft). I also read somewhere that if it’s real, it’s supposed to absorb water, but the wallet I bought doesn’t absorb water. The water just sits at top, but maybe it’s supposed to be like that because of the design/texture? I’m really not sure so please help.
