Hi eBay Community, Last year I met a woman at a local video game store. She had a huge bag of games and I told her I would pay more than the store for her collection. Long story short, we developed a buyer-seller relationship, and she always had a supply of games for me below market price. She has since moved and I was wondering how the community sources items to sell online? I have tried yard sales and thrift stores, but they are often hit or miss. Recently, I have started looking into storage unit auctions, but it seems very time consuming with no guarantees. Buying from people online isn't really viable for turning a profit since everyone can just look online to see what their item is being sold for these days. My friend had a job where she cleaned out temporary living spaces (ie. dorms, apartments, etc.), and whatever was left behind was hers to keep. Just curious where others have found luck with buying to resell.
