Visually Impaired eBay Seller Needs Live Phone Support

My main goal is, of course, to get paid for items I sell. eBay is asking me to update my account and banking information - before I can receive payments, which is a perfectly reasonable request. The problem is that because of my vision, I’m unable to clearly see and navigate what is being requested. What I really need is a phone number or callback from eBay Support so someone can walk me through the process step by step. I have been selling on eBay for over 20 years but have been inactive for quite a while, and much has changed. Once I get my account updated, I also need some help correctly listing a heavy item for sale. Thank you in advance for all of your help direction and support-- wishing Ya all best of luck and may this be the best year ever for you God bless, Jerry

Should I accept a return even if the reason for return was marked incorrectly (defective instead of Buyer's remorse) and I talked to eBay support about it?

I sell new old stock wakeboard bindings. about a week ago, I sold 20 year old Hyperlite Byerly wakeboard bindings to someone. They were closed toe and a size large, so that would fit a US Men's size 9 - 11. Because these were old stock bindings, they naturally had a little cosmetic wear, but that wouldn't have impacted performance on the water, but I made sure that in the description it was clear there would be a little weathering and that the buyer should inspect the pictures further to make sure they knew the condition of the bindings I was selling. I do this for every listing, no matter if the weathering is noticable or not. Last saturday, the buyer contacted me And told me that they couldn't fit the bindings, despite being a men's size 10. they also sent me photos of the bindings even further damaged, most likely from trying to get the binding on. However, I suspect there was major user error at play. Byerly are not like modern wakeboard bindings where you can slide them on dry. They are very tight and require you wet both the bindings and your feet at least before attempting to try them on. when I looked at the pictures the buyer sent me, the bindings looked very dry, so I know they did not try this method. Despite the message for their return talking mainly about how the bindings did not fit, they marked the reason as Defective instead of Buyer's Remorse. I contacted Ebay support about it, telling them the situation, and assured me it was handled and that they were on my side. But there is still a return request sitting in my inbox. I do not want to have to pay for shipping, since by the nature of the error, it should have been the buyer paying, but I'm worried if I continue to let it sit, Ebay will eventually take matters into their own hands and take the funds from me directly. I can't object to the request. I can only purchase a return label from ebay, upload a return label of my own, or confirm I have already sent a new label to the buyer. I think the only way I can go about this is to accept the return at this point and report the buyer afterwards, but I'm unsure if I'll actually have that as an option considering how all my research is suggesting I do a lot of things that aren't showing up as options. I need to get the request solidified by the 30th. Does anybody have any advice as to what I should do?

Anyone else getting repeated incorrect FedEx shipping adjustments through eBay?

Repeated incorrect FedEx shipping adjustments through eBay I've been having an ongoing problem with FedEx shipping labels purchased through eBay, and I'm wondering if other sellers are experiencing the same issue. Several of my FedEx shipments have received adjustment charges after delivery. In some cases, a package that I shipped at around 12 oz was later billed as 10 lb . I carefully weigh and measure every package before purchasing the label, and I also take photos of the package on the scale and with a tape measure and even taking a photo of size and weights. The strange part is that every time I dispute the adjustment with eBay, the dispute is approved and the charge is removed . However, this keeps happening. Recently, it happened on 3 of my last 7 FedEx shipments . I understand that occasional billing errors can happen, but repeated incorrect adjustments that are later reversed are becoming very time-consuming. Has anyone else experienced this with FedEx labels purchased through eBay? How often does it happen to you? Were you able to get eBay to investigate the recurring issue instead of handling each adjustment separately? Is there anything you've done that reduced or stopped these incorrect adjustment charges? I'm not looking to complain about a single shipment. I'm trying to find out whether this is a broader issue and whether anyone has found a long-term solution.

Completed return case involving item substitution (graded collectible) – request for moderator guidance

I am posting for guidance from experienced sellers and eBay moderators regarding a completed return case involving suspected item substitution. I sold a graded Pokémon card (SGC 7 holographic Dark Charizard) via auction. The buyer completed payment and the item was shipped securely. The buyer later opened a return request claiming the item arrived damaged. I accepted the return in good faith and followed eBay’s return process. However, the item returned was not the original item shipped. Instead, I received a sealed stack of low-value Energy cards. The original graded card was not included in the return. Despite this discrepancy, the buyer received a refund. I submitted evidence during the case and again during appeal. The appeal was denied and the case is now closed. At this stage, I am not asking for the decision to be reversed through this forum. I am seeking clarification on escalation pathways and policy handling for completed return cases involving item substitution. Specifically: What escalation path exists for completed cases involving returned-item mismatch or substitution? What documentation is typically required for review of serialized/graded collectibles? Is there a specific fraud escalation process for return substitution cases? I am trying to understand whether there are additional steps available beyond the standard appeal process in cases like this.

URGENT To Sellers Locked Devices, Death Of Part Phones, I Give ebay 24 Hours Haha

Hey everyone So we got a message from good ol ebay this morning, one of our listing was removed for promoting illegal activity.  Selling part iphones they consider illegal activity now....NOT Kidding So, if you look at our account, we sell surplus, we get hundreds of broken devices. We do not have the means to test all the devices for various reasons. Some have no screens, no batteries, are water damaged etc etc. So for YEARS now, we list these devices in lots, just like everyone else, sold for parts very simple.  BUT because we wish to be transparent, because we all know selling on ebay, if you sell a device, and the buyer finds out its locked, and you did not disclose.... Blah Blah Our devices are all different issues, and yes, some are locked by icloud, or google, OF COURSE, when you deal in quantity and parts. Devices turned in, lost, broken, donated, etc etc. We received this message and called ebay, We do NOT appreciate stating we are doing illegal activity, when we have 100% feedback clearly showing otherwise. The rep on the phone JUST TOLD me they will be removing all devices that state they are locked for activation, he did not specify locked to a carrier.  This rep claimed they would be removing all devices that are google, icloud or any other manufactured device that is activation locked. So we removed all listings of devices we know are locked.   And how does ebay NOW claim they will handle the millions of people that wish to sell a device for parts, because they know it is locked, or do not know, the rep on the phone could not tell me.   I wish to see how this plays out, this is a notice to all you sellers. Personally, i think if you sell these devices daily, please feel free to call ebay, and voice like i did. I honestly do not see this playing out longer then 24 hours after all the millions of devices listed are ended. Take care all
