Package still not delivered

Hi, what is the proper way to handle a package that was shipped on time but still hasn't arrived 5 weeks later. I have been to FedEX and USPS (who per Fedex passed it on to) and both could not give me specifics on the location of the package, other then its on its way to the customer. Tracking has not updated in 5 days to confirm this. Any advice is appreciated.

Shipping UPS at my cost because of mail issues…. How do I provide tracking now?
Help with shipping questions… I shipped my sale today, but recently my local USPS has lost mail. For safety I paid extra to ship UPS… I don’t want any extra from my buyer. I can’t add the UPS shipping number. The sale only shows I offered USPS. I provided tracking information via message. How can I get paid after delivery now?

Use other than Ebay shipping service. Can I do that?

Please forgive the naivete of this question. Just haven't sold in a while. Recently I sold an item on Ebay and it looks I could not find a way to not use or avoid the Ebay shipping. To be honest I was in kind of a rush, so it is very likely I missed how. The item I sold was the first in a very long time, so it is very likely things have changed here. How do you reject or avoid the Ebay shipping service and use your own? Are there rules or restrictions for low volume sellers? I normally use the paypal shipping. For that item, shipping would have been a couple of dollars cheaper. I also seem to have heard good things about pirate shipping or similar name. What would be their correct name? Other shipping sites /shipping services you would recommend? Thanks

How to handle shipping charges when the number purchased can vary

I have several antique plates that are all the same. I will offer them as one or more. How is shipping calculated when selling multiple items? For example, if they purchase one or maybe all 6?

Tracking# not being scanned by USPS
I am having issues with my USPS letter carrier and package pickups. I am unable to go to a post office and have package pickups as needed. Lately it's been a 50/50 if the barcode tracking info. is scanned which then results in the order registering as item still in "pre-shipment" and buyer confirms receipt of item. This not only puts my shipping time in deep decline, I am also not getting payment as tracking# is still in pre-shipment per the USPS! I have repeatedly opened claims with the postal station in question, yet this continues to happen. What else can I do to keep from getting my account dinged and losing payouts and merchandise? Is there a way to notate the day the item gets picked up? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I received a message asking if someone bought more than 1 item would they have to pay for each shipping? I am glad to bundle but not sure how to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Would it involve some type of refund? Thanks

Shipping small packages with ebay

Why was Ebay management caught with their pants down on the shipping issue? Why wasn't the eBay community given any advance notice? How did all of eBay's major competitors have shipping solutions in place and operating while eBay has none? USPS raised its shipping rates astronomically with $7.68 for a one ounce to 4 ounce package with tracking. FedEx and UPS immediately followed suit. With the ridiculous shipping expense, outrageous eBay fees, ad cost and taxes, there are no proceeds left to cover the cost of the products, labor, packaging, additional eBay store fees, etc. much less any profit. Ebay always exhorts us to charge less and less for our product offerings, but eBay has never reduced our fees in 23 years of dealing with them.

eBay still has not updated the order status to “Delivered.”

Hi everyone, I have several orders that were successfully delivered according to the carrier’s official tracking information. However, eBay still has not updated the order status to “Delivered.” The tracking numbers were uploaded correctly, and the carrier’s website clearly confirms delivery. Has anyone experienced this issue before? How long does it normally take for eBay to sync the delivery status? Is there any way to request a manual review or update from eBay Support? I’m concerned that the incorrect status may affect my seller metrics, payment release, or create unnecessary “item not received” cases. Thank you for any advice!
