Anyone else struggling with the USPS Ground Advantage changes for lightweight packages (4 oz, 8 oz, 12 oz, and 16 oz)?

We sell in the eBay Motors Parts & Accessories category and offer free shipping on all orders. On top of that, eBay requires free returns, which means we're also paying return shipping when buyers return an item for virtually any reason. Now, with the USPS Ground Advantage pricing changes, especially for the rural ZIP codes, it has become extremely difficult to price items competitively. For those of you offering free shipping, how are you adjusting your pricing? Are you increasing prices across the board, absorbing the cost, switching carriers, or changing your shipping strategy? With shipping costs continuing to rise while buyers still expect free shipping and free returns, it's becoming harder to stay profitable on lower-priced items. I'd really like to hear what other sellers are doing. Any ideas or strategies that have worked for you?

Listing Description Allowed Media Mail, Now that Item sold, eBay is not allowing media mail shipping

When I list an item, I always double check on the shipping requirements/availability, ESPECIALLY when it comes to Media Mail. When I listed a vintage calendar, the media mail shipping option was available based on the listing category. Now that the item has sold, the media mail option is no longer available. Anyone else have this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it? Thanks! DeeDee

Anyone else getting repeated incorrect FedEx shipping adjustments through eBay?

Repeated incorrect FedEx shipping adjustments through eBay I've been having an ongoing problem with FedEx shipping labels purchased through eBay, and I'm wondering if other sellers are experiencing the same issue. Several of my FedEx shipments have received adjustment charges after delivery. In some cases, a package that I shipped at around 12 oz was later billed as 10 lb . I carefully weigh and measure every package before purchasing the label, and I also take photos of the package on the scale and with a tape measure and even taking a photo of size and weights. The strange part is that every time I dispute the adjustment with eBay, the dispute is approved and the charge is removed . However, this keeps happening. Recently, it happened on 3 of my last 7 FedEx shipments . I understand that occasional billing errors can happen, but repeated incorrect adjustments that are later reversed are becoming very time-consuming. Has anyone else experienced this with FedEx labels purchased through eBay? How often does it happen to you? Were you able to get eBay to investigate the recurring issue instead of handling each adjustment separately? Is there anything you've done that reduced or stopped these incorrect adjustment charges? I'm not looking to complain about a single shipment. I'm trying to find out whether this is a broader issue and whether anyone has found a long-term solution.

      Return labels

Recently experienced some selling issues; When cancelling an order/getting a new label does not automatically VOID/Credit the old label. I think this should be automatic, other shipping sites do just that if you haven't used the label in 30 days. Did this change to be a new way for eBay to rip us off? hiding it in the https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/my-ebay page is less than helpful. Removed. Are there any 3rd party sites to aggregate poor buyers/block lists? I have unrealistic buyers that message a bunch/send an offer about some $10 sale. Then they want a return after or demand "free shipping".. What sites keep this up to date? Is there a competing site (other than FB marketplace) to sell automotive parts? For automotive parts, eBay allows/forces a seller to offer a return. Usually buyer changes their mind, claim something other than reality; and we eat the fees on shipping and headache both way is terrible. The return "flow" on the website has for sure changed. Automatic return labels are now "negotiated" and way more of a PITA than before. You can't see the initial size/weight of the item you shipped, just the cost. You now have to have the buyer properly weigh/measure the item if you want to compare actual costs. Why doesn't eBay show us the original shipping information that we provided for each- screen capturing/recording this for every item prior to ship gives a terrible marketplace/shipping experience.

How to print separate shipping labels for two identical items (sold as a pair) on one listing to one buyer?

I've been here long enough to have figured this out but I haven't. The solution is no doubt simple so here goes: I am going to list a pair a large speakers (floorstanding) that weigh about 50 pounds each. I know I'll get a big discount by shipping from eBay, but I want to ship each speaker separately to not go over the weight limits on USPS Ground that might trigger more $$. So, the question is once the sale is made, how can I print two separate postage stickers, one for each speaker? Also, in the item description do I enter the total weight for both, and if so, how does that affect my question? This is driving me crazy (I usually only sell records and CD's, a breeze by comparison). Really do appreciate any suggestions of best practices here!!! pd

Classify Puerto Rico under "International Shipping"

Why do eBay sellers now classify Puerto Rico under "International Shipping," resulting in exorbitant, overpriced charges? Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory. The postal service in Puerto Rico uses the exact same system as the U.S. mainland; there is no need to fill out U.S. Customs forms. I often let sellers know that the international rate applied to Puerto Rico is incorrect, and I know that many people—myself included—refrain from buying from such sellers. If you think eBay itself might be mistaken, just verify it when you go to the post office. It is your business to run as you see fit, but charging more than necessary is unfair. After all, no one is supposed to be making a profit off of inflated shipping costs.

      Shipping Quantity adjustments

Im getting absolutely demolished on some of my card orders. I have multiple variation postings where the buyers can select which players they want out of certain listings. It works great until they order more cards than will fit into a standard envelope and i keep eating the cost between the envelope and ground advantage bubble mailer. I have tried everything to avail. I have asked Gemini about 100 times and nothing works. I know there is no way to tell ebay that greater than 3 cards charge the buyer and upgrade to bubble mailer.....so what do i do?
