Anyone else struggling with the USPS Ground Advantage changes for lightweight packages (4 oz, 8 oz, 12 oz, and 16 oz)?

We sell in the eBay Motors Parts & Accessories category and offer free shipping on all orders. On top of that, eBay requires free returns, which means we're also paying return shipping when buyers return an item for virtually any reason. Now, with the USPS Ground Advantage pricing changes, especially for the rural ZIP codes, it has become extremely difficult to price items competitively. For those of you offering free shipping, how are you adjusting your pricing? Are you increasing prices across the board, absorbing the cost, switching carriers, or changing your shipping strategy? With shipping costs continuing to rise while buyers still expect free shipping and free returns, it's becoming harder to stay profitable on lower-priced items. I'd really like to hear what other sellers are doing. Any ideas or strategies that have worked for you?

      Bank Verification Pending 2+ Weeks - jasnisapuan5@gmail.com

Hi Mentors, I need help with my seller account. My name is SHAFIZA AZIYANTI BT AHMAD SAUFFE. My eBay seller account: jasnisapuan5@gmail.com My bank account / Payoneer verification has been pending for over 2 weeks. I cannot get past this step. I tried contacting eBay support through the app and website, but chat is always unavailable and there is no option to send an email. I am very committed to selling on eBay. I already have ready inventory of authentic JDM diecast models and car parts from Japan. I am ready to provide any documentation like IC or proof of address. Can anyone from eBay or a Mentor please help escalate this or tell me how to reach the payments team? Thank you so much.

I accepted offers from a buyer, but the items don't show in my orders list so that I can send a combined invoice.

      Packaging

Sometimes it can be a real challenge opening the envelopes and packages sent by sellers. After cutting, un-wrapping and un-sticking all the layers of cardboard, paper and plastic employed to secure and protect the postcard or other item being sent, then one must fill a trash bin with unwanted materials. But the deliveries received that irritate me the most are those envelopes tightly filled with material taped to the inside of the envelope. Or, the Seller utilizing those nice ebay heavy paper envelopes having a simple, easy to open draw string - securely taped over. I hate to put people on the spot by mentioning these things in the review comments, but I sure hope some of those Sellers might read this and sympathize.

Buyer-Requested Cancellations Counted as Seller Fault Unfulfilled in BBE – Is This Correct?

Hello, I am looking for clarification regarding the Seller Fault Unfulfilled metric under eBay's Cross-Border BBE policy. It appears that some orders where the buyer explicitly requested cancellation may be contributing to the seller's Seller Fault Unfulfilled BBE rate. I am trying to understand whether this is intended behavior or a possible classification issue. Specifically, if the sequence is: Buyer places order → Buyer requests cancellation → Seller accepts the buyer's request → Buyer receives a full refund should that transaction be classified as Seller Fault Unfulfilled ? This seems different from a situation where the seller cancels because an item is out of stock or because the seller is unable to fulfill the order. Another concern is that the BBE dashboard may show a number of Seller Fault Unfulfilled transactions, while the downloadable BBE Transactions report does not clearly identify the individual transactions responsible for that metric . This makes it difficult for a seller to determine which transactions are being counted and provide evidence if a transaction has been incorrectly classified. Could someone familiar with Cross-Border BBE please clarify: Are buyer-requested cancellations supposed to count as Seller Fault Unfulfilled? Does BBE distinguish between buyer-requested cancellations and seller-initiated/unfulfilled cancellations ? How can a seller obtain the Transaction IDs being counted under Seller Fault Unfulfilled if they are not identified in the downloadable BBE report? Is there a specific process for requesting a manual review of an incorrectly classified BBE transaction? I would especially appreciate clarification from an eBay representative or sellers who have encountered the same issue. Thank you.

Business Policies bug: No Returns policy cannot be selected or assigned to listings

Business Policies bug: No Returns policy cannot be selected or assigned to listings I need help with what appears to be a Business Policies glitch on my eBay.com seller account. I have two saved return policies: • Returns allowed within 30 days — buyer pays return shipping; currently assigned to 2 listings. • Fragile/Crafts - No Returns — domestic returns OFF and international returns OFF; currently assigned to 0 listings. The problem is that eBay automatically assigns the 30-day policy to new listings on my Mac. The listing editor does not give me a choice of my saved return policies. The Preferences section is not editable; the pencil only opens my general return settings and does not let me select my other saved policy. I have already tested this in a Firefox Private Window with exactly the same result. I also tested Bulk Edit on an existing listing. I selected the listing, chose Preferences → Return Policy → “Fragile/Crafts - No Returns,” and saved it. eBay reported “Business policies updated in the listing,” but the listing remained on the 30-day return policy and the No Returns policy still showed 0 listings. I also tried copying the No Returns policy. eBay refused and displayed: “This policy is the same as your existing policy. You can either use your existing policy or make changes to this one.” I have found a recent 2026 eBay technical-issues report describing the same type of Business Policies problem, where eBay acknowledged a glitch and the policy association had to be repaired. I need this investigated as a Business Policies/account-level technical problem , not instructions for creating a return policy. The policies already exist and are configured correctly. Please check whether there is a duplicate/ghost policy record or corrupted policy association on my account and repair the association so that Fragile/Crafts - No Returns can be selected and saved on new listings from the desktop/Mac listing editor. Please do not change my two existing 30-day-return listings.

eBay is holding my funds for 30 days — looking for advice from experienced sellers

I’m hoping some experienced eBay sellers can give me some insight because I’m honestly frustrated and confused about how eBay is handling my account. I started selling on eBay in March 2026 , so I have now been selling for several months and am well beyond the initial 90-day period that I understood applied to new sellers. I’ve completed 50+ sales , and I’ve had orders successfully delivered to buyers. Some buyers have even left positive feedback confirming that the transactions were completed successfully. Despite this, eBay has been placing 30-day holds on my funds . I contacted eBay Customer Service several times to ask why my money is being held for so long and whether there is anything I can do to have the funds released sooner. The response I keep getting is that my “selling history in the past 90 days has not been strong enough for the system to consider early release of funds.” That answer honestly doesn't make much sense to me. I understand that eBay has policies and risk-management systems, and I'm not asking eBay to ignore its policies. What I don't understand is what exactly my account is lacking. If I've been selling since March, have completed 50+ transactions, have successfully delivered orders, and have received positive feedback, what specifically is considered “not strong enough”? Is there a certain number of sales I need? A certain dollar amount? A certain percentage of deliveries? A certain amount of positive feedback? A certain number of months of selling history? Nobody at eBay has been able to give me a clear answer. The situation is becoming extremely difficult because this isn't just money sitting in an account that I don't need. These are funds from sales that I need to reinvest into inventory, pay business expenses, shipping costs, and keep my eBay operation going . Having money from completed sales tied up for 30 days makes it extremely difficult to continue operating. I'm not posting this just to complain about eBay. I'm genuinely looking for advice from other sellers who may have experienced the same thing. Has anyone else been selling for several months, completed dozens of successful transactions, received positive feedback, and still had eBay place 30-day holds on their funds? If so, how long did it take before eBay started releasing your funds earlier? And if anyone knows what eBay actually means by “selling history has not been strong enough,” I'd really appreciate hearing what criteria eventually made you eligible for earlier payouts. I'm trying to build a legitimate eBay business and do everything the right way. I just need to understand what I need to do to get past this situation. Thanks in advance to anyone who can share their experience or advice.

      Seller shipping options hidden

I listed an item and ebay applied flat rate shipping which I didn't want. I always want to use the calculate shipping cost option. I don't remember this being the case in the past but the buttons to choose calculate cost vs flat rate are hidden. In the seller listing creation page in the shipping section you don't see the options on the page. You have to click on a small line of grey text that brings up a popup to see the options. I missed seeing it and the flat rate option was applied which cost me a good chunk of money because the item wasn't just a small item. Did this page change recently where those options are hidden?
