Anyone else struggling with the USPS Ground Advantage changes for lightweight packages (4 oz, 8 oz, 12 oz, and 16 oz)?

We sell in the eBay Motors Parts & Accessories category and offer free shipping on all orders. On top of that, eBay requires free returns, which means we're also paying return shipping when buyers return an item for virtually any reason. Now, with the USPS Ground Advantage pricing changes, especially for the rural ZIP codes, it has become extremely difficult to price items competitively. For those of you offering free shipping, how are you adjusting your pricing? Are you increasing prices across the board, absorbing the cost, switching carriers, or changing your shipping strategy? With shipping costs continuing to rise while buyers still expect free shipping and free returns, it's becoming harder to stay profitable on lower-priced items. I'd really like to hear what other sellers are doing. Any ideas or strategies that have worked for you?

      Problem with refund

Hi I bought the wrong item and cancelled the transaction after 5 minutes. The seller issued a refund, but a few minutes later, the money was deducted from my account again. The eBay app shows that the funds were refunded. It has been 30 days; I thought it might take that long, but this is taking too long now. Please help.

Need help: Damaged UPS shipment with eBay label stuck in shipping loop. UPS says only eBay can file claim.

Need help: Damaged UPS shipment with eBay label stuck in shipping loop. UPS says only eBay can file claim. I'm hoping someone has dealt with this before because I've spent days going back and forth between UPS and eBay without any resolution. I sold a Pride Go-Go mobility scooter and purchased the shipping label through eBay. The package was damaged in transit before it could be delivered to the buyer. The problem is that the package has been bouncing between Florida and Texas for over a week. It keeps showing "Out for Delivery," then "Returning to Sender," then ends up in another UPS facility. Neither the buyer nor I have been able to inspect the damage because it never actually arrives anywhere. My return address has changed since the label was created. UPS has repeatedly told me they cannot change the return address because the label was purchased through eBay and eBay is listed as the shipper. They also tell me I cannot file a damage claim because the shipment is restricted, and I receive the following error: "Unfortunately we cannot process your claim. The sender has restricted claims for this package. Please reach out to them directly for assistance. (UPS:E022)" UPS has told me multiple times that eBay must initiate the claim or otherwise authorize it. The problem is that eBay support keeps sending me back to the UPS claims website, which immediately rejects the claim with the error above. I've now contacted eBay several times and have received conflicting answers from different representatives. One says to file with UPS, UPS says only eBay can do it, and another eBay representative suggested refunding the buyer without addressing the damaged shipment or insurance claim. The buyer has been very patient throughout this process, and I want to make sure they receive a full refund. I also need to recover the value of the damaged item through the shipping insurance, but I'm currently stuck because neither company will take ownership of the claim. Has anyone successfully resolved a situation like this with an eBay shipping label? Specifically: How did you get eBay to actually file or escalate the UPS damage claim? Is there a department or phone number that handles restricted UPS claims purchased through eBay? Has anyone dealt with a package endlessly cycling between UPS facilities after being marked damaged? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. At this point I just need someone to take ownership of the claim instead of being sent back and forth between UPS and eBay.

Single Same Item Sold Twice to Separate Buyers

Bottom line, after a great deal of sleuthing, I've discovered that an item was sold to a buyer, paid for, and shipped, after the very same item was already sold, paid for, and shipped to another buyer. Ebay "resolved" the issue based on the second buyer's message that they "did not receive their item" as denied and no appeal possible. My mistake that I sent the wrong item. Buyer's "mistake" that they used the "did not receive item" instead of clarifying that they received the wrong item. (Likely due to the few "select" choices). Somehow, the same Ebay item remained listed even after it sold. Help! How can I resolve this? I want to refund my second buyer and do not want them to be charged for return shipping. Is there a way to work with Customer Service after a closed Appeal?

Pixel 8 arrived DOA - Can't return it

I bought a eBay refurbished Google Pixel 8 "Good" condition from a certified seller with 99.3% feedback and over 6,000 sales. I'm an international buyer living in Venezuela, so physically returning the item to the US is extremely difficult and costly for me, nearly impossible in practice. When it arrived, the phone won't turn on under any circumstance, I left it charging for several hours with different chargers and cables with zero signs of life (no screen, no vibration, no warmth). On top of that, there are loose internal components rattling when I move the phone. I opened a return request (reason: "Item defective") , and I messaged the seller explaining everything in detail, specifically asking them to issue a full refund without requiring me to ship the item back , given how defective it arrived and the real difficulty I have sending it back internationally. I haven't heard back from the seller yet. Any recommendations for this case?

High-Value Return Fraud: 40-Lb Weight Discrepancy Ignored & Unfair Negative Balance

"I am looking for advice or insight from other sellers who have dealt with high-value return fraud. Completely unacceptable. I was left with an unfair negative balance of $6,000 because eBay completely ignored a documented 40-pound weight discrepancy on a fraudulent return. I shipped 78 lbs of high-value industrial inventory, and the buyer manipulated the return to send back a fraction of that weight. Instead of investigating actual mail fraud and grand larceny, support hid behind automated delivery scans and dismissed an official federal IC3 cybercrime report as 'having nothing to do with eBay.' Offering a tiny fee credit while sticking a seller with thousands in losses due to platform-enabled fraud is disgraceful. Has anyone else successfully fought a negative balance when carriers and tracking data proved a massive weight shortage? Any advice on next steps would be greatly appreciated."

I got a digital Ebay Gift Card but confirmation email did not contain the cards redemption code

I requested to return an item and was given the option to have my credit card reimbursed or get an Ebay gift card. I picked the gift card. Within a day I got an email from Ebay telling me my return request was accepted by the seller and that my Ebay gift card is ready. I checked my account -payments and saw the gift card was there showing the amount. I found an item I wanted and chose to make the payment using my gift card. This option asked for the redemption code that came in the email telling me the gift card was ready. That email did not include a redemption code or a link to it. I have not received any other emails concerning this gift card. I have checked my junk and spam folders for an email from ebay and there is none. How can I get the redemption code for my Ebay gift card?

      Defective DVD

I ordered a brand new DVD, but happens that disc came defective, cannot play even it's in a very good looking. The big problem: I'm outside USA. I ordered and it was sent to Miami, FL. then the courier received it to be sent to Central America. This is the very first time that happens to me and I don't know what could I do. Is there any way to get a refund or should I do something to send the item too? By the way the seller don't accept returns.

Bought item not showing up in history despite emails confirming purchase/refund

Hello! I bought a refurbished phone around a week ago, after realizing I bought the wrong one [provider locked, I do not use said provide] I tried to refund it, however the item does not show up in my purchase history. When I click on email links confirming the purchase/providing the refund label for print it just gives me an error. I need to refund this item before August 4th, any help is appreciated. The item has not been taken down, and I have checked my feedback history where it isn't present either.
