Media Mail offered on items listed with only USPS Ground Shipping

On recent orders of items that were listed for USPS Ground Advantage shipping, somehow the buyer was offered and selected Media Mail. When I filter my listings for Ground Advantage shipping poliocy, these items appears as they should. However, when I go to the listing, it shows Media Mail as the shipping option. This is a recent problem. Anyone else experiencing this issue. As always, it's extremely difficult to contact Ebay about the problem.

Listing Description Allowed Media Mail, Now that Item sold, eBay is not allowing media mail shipping

When I list an item, I always double check on the shipping requirements/availability, ESPECIALLY when it comes to Media Mail. When I listed a vintage calendar, the media mail shipping option was available based on the listing category. Now that the item has sold, the media mail option is no longer available. Anyone else have this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it? Thanks! DeeDee

eBay discrepancy between Listing Category vs eBay Label Category regarding Media Mail
Why does eBay not correct the discrepancy between eBay Listing tools and eBay Labels tools? You can select USPS Media Mail as a shipping option when Listing an item in an allowed category; but when it sells, eBay Labels will not allow that category to be used to select USPS Media Mail to get a shipping label. This has cost me $$$ recently when the buyer paid shipping costs at Media Mail rate but eBay Labels only allowed USPS Ground Advantage, at a higher postage rate.

How / why can a video games listing have media mail as sending choice?

I've recently gotten back into selling a handful of items here on eBay. Some of the items I want to sell are vintage computer games (on CD) and / or old computer software. I've researched media mail usage and it appears pretty plainly written that computer games aren't allowed. That said, in reviewing some other listing in the video games category, I'm seeing listings using media mail. Is that a legit choice? It's impacting how I consider positioning myself on pricing some of the things I want to list. Thanks in advance for getting me on track with this. Appreciate it.
