Smithey Cast Iron - Infinite loop between UPS, eBay, and seller kob4456.

What does a buyer do when stuck in an infinite loop of no help and no information from either UPS or eBay? I did not receive my package even though it shows delivered by UPS. It was signed for by a lady who does not live with me and not a neighbor. There was no picture for proof of deliver to my house which is standard procedure to both residences and businesses. My address is correct in the order but UPS won't give me information because my street number is different on the shipping label than my actual address. UPS says to reach out to the sender and has requested more information from the seller but I doubt there is any response because all of my messages to the seller have gone unanswered. eBay says there is nothing they can do because UPS shows delivery in tracking. The package was not shipped from the listing location. There are numerous complaints about this seller that has occurred during my transaction period, most with a similar story to mine. Not sure what to do aside from filing a claim with my credit card. Any suggestions?

Packages marked “Delivered – Individual Picked Up at Post Office” but never received by freight forwarder warehouse (Portland OR 97230)

Hi everyone, I want to share a recent issue I’ve been dealing with. I had two different packages from two different sellers, both shipped via USPS to my freight forwarder warehouse in Portland, Oregon (ZIP 97230). Both packages ended up with the exact same tracking status: “Delivered, Individual Picked Up at Post Office” Location: Portland, OR 97230 First package: July 22, 2026 Second package: August 8, 2026 My warehouse (Buyandship) has confirmed multiple times that: They do not pick up packages from the post office Packages are supposed to be delivered directly to their facility They never received either of these packages So the packages were not actually delivered to the address I provided. Someone else collected them at the post office. What happened when I contacted the sellers: One seller said the tracking showed “delivered,” so they had no responsibility and told me to contact USPS myself. The other seller first told me to go pick it up at the post office (even though it was already marked as picked up), then later said they would contact USPS. Current situation: I have already filed Missing Mail Search requests and reported it to USPIS (Mail Theft). I’m also opening Item Not Received cases on eBay, but I’m not very hopeful since the tracking shows “Delivered.” Has anyone else experienced this, especially with packages going to freight forwarders in the Portland 97230 area? Did you manage to get a refund from the seller or through eBay? Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks for reading. 8/10 One of the packages that showed “Delivered, Individual Picked Up at Post Office” on Saturday, August 8 (when the warehouse is closed) only actually arrived at the warehouse on August 10 . This confirms that the “Picked Up at Post Office” status does not mean the warehouse received the package. However, my package from July 22 (value $9.99) was marked as signed for / picked up at the post office, and it is still missing after more than 20 days. My warehouse also confirmed that they have no authority to request delivery/signature records from USPS. Only the original sender (the eBay seller) can make that request — the logistics company will not accept requests from a third-party freight forwarder.

eIS Parcel Undeliverable by DHL; possibly returned?

Hello, I recently ordered a lot of 14 novels on eBay from the United States, I am located in the Netherlands. The parcel was supposed to be delivered on Friday 24 July, at a DHL parcelshop (one I had rerouted it to, as I would not be home on said delivery day). Unfortunately it was not delivered on that day, and DHL's tracking status says it's 'out with courier to be delivered'. I have since contacted DHL multiple times about this, they suspect the parcel may have been wrongfully returned. Which would mean the parcel would first go back to Germany, as that's where it entered the EU, and then back to eBay's hub in I presume Illinois. DHL has advised me to let eBay contact them to start an internal investigation regarding the whereabouts of the parcel; and to also let eBay know that if the parcel does get returned they should keep an eye out for it, so it can be sent back to me. The recipient. Unfortunately the parcel isn't receiving any new status updates either, which is odd. More often than not, when a parcel is wrongfully returned (because it was i.e. undeliverable) it should still receive updates, right? eBay's customer support is unfortunately no help at all. They steadfast refuse to contact DHL (as they are supposed to do, as they are DHL's direct customer, not me), they cite 'privacy and security concerns', a load of nonsense if you ask me. They just refuse to help. - I have since gotten an e-mail from them saying they will 'review' any e-mails I send them, but they won't reply. Not great customer support, if you ask me. I am unfortunately not able to contact any Dutch eBay customer support agents, as they do not exist. (DHL also thinks it is incredibly weird and unkind that eBay does not want to contact them) I was wondering, now that the parcel is most likely being returned to the US, where does it end up? It is possible for me to ever get this parcel when it does, hopefully, reach eBay's hub again? I doubt it'll go back to the seller. I am aware that I, starting tomorrow 6 August, am allowed to request a refund as it has not been delivered. Is it wise to wait for about 20 days (max is of course 30) to see if there are any new status updates? I thank you for your help!

      Mismanaged shipping

My package/s aren't being delivered and instead are being returned to sender due to 'incomplete address'. I have successfully ordered and received on eBay with the same exact mailing information that is still on my account. At first I thought that it may be the USPS, but just last week they successfully delivered a package from a different website with the same information...

Buyer Claims Parcel Was Empty Despite Carrier Evidence – Looking for Advice

Hi everyone, I'm looking for advice from sellers who have dealt with a similar situation. A buyer purchased two folding knives from my eBay store. After delivery, the buyer contacted me claiming that the parcel arrived with both knives missing. Here are the facts: The tracking shows the parcel was successfully delivered. The buyer confirmed that the package arrived without any external damage. I contacted the carrier and obtained the delivery photos taken at the time of delivery. The parcel appears to be in good condition with no visible signs of damage or tampering. I also received the carrier's shipping information. The shipping label shows a recorded weight of 10.820 oz (approximately 307 g). The combined weight of the two knives is approximately 255 g, so the recorded shipment weight is consistent with the expected weight of the items together with the shipping box and protective packaging. Based on the carrier's recorded shipment weight, the delivery photos, and the fact that the parcel was delivered without visible damage, I have not found any evidence that the parcel was empty when it entered the carrier's network or that the contents were lost or removed during transit. I have explained my findings to the buyer and declined the refund request based on the available evidence. If you were in my position, how would you respond if the buyer opens a case? Is there anything else I should provide to strengthen my position? Thank you in advance for any advice or suggestions.
