Has anyone else experienced a major drop in performance after converting their eBay account from a personal account to a business account? I've been an eBay user for many years and have always enjoyed buying and selling on the platform. Earlier this year I converted my account from a personal account to a business account for my small business. Shortly afterwards I achieved Top Rated Seller status, which I was obviously pleased about. Around the same time, however, the account's performance appears to have declined dramatically. Sales have fallen, fees seem much much higher than before, and despite continuing to make sales, my available balance has steadily reduced. The account now has almost no money available, even though items are still selling. Before the change, I was successfully selling both personal household items and business inventory. Since becoming a business account, it feels like something has fundamentally changed, but I can't work out exactly what. I would be interested to hear from other sellers: • Did converting to a business account affect your sales or visibility? • Were there any unexpected fees, subscriptions, advertising settings, or account changes that caught you by surprise? • Has anyone successfully reverted a business account back to a personal account? • Is there anything I should check before contacting eBay support? I genuinely like eBay and want to continue selling on the platform. This small business helps support my family, and the recent decline has made selling on eBay financially very difficult. I'm simply trying to understand what may have happened and whether anyone else has experienced something similar. Is there any way to revert a business account back to a personal account? I can't see an option to do this in my account settings. Has anyone successfully done it by contacting eBay support? Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, AL
