Pay to Promote Listings - Is it worth it?

I have noticed that since it's now free to sell on eBay I'm actually selling less and at a much lower price. I don't currently promote any of my listings, but when I saw an eBay quote : "50% of items like this are currently being promoted on eBay" I thought that this could be the reason why my items aren't being seen or getting many clicks like they used to. If promoted items are getting placed above mine, should I also be promoting my listings? I see that this may be the new way that eBay is making their money. Am I being stupid not promoting my items? Would be good to hear opinions on this and find out wether promoting would boost my clicks and sales.

Help and Contact Page Useless

I made two purchases from two different sellers. They said their product was delivered but NO it wasn't or I never received it. I contacted both sellers who were no help at all, so I've been trying to contact eBay. This process is totally impossible! I cannot send an email to report the seller because eBay doesn't have an option for no seller name and won't send it without one. I don't have a name because the purchases are no longer in my purchase history NOR are the sellers showing up in eBay. How do I get a record of the emails between us. How do these things just disappear? I've tried for days to contact eBay but their contact and help page is a joke. Nothing leads to nothing. I've been on an endless circle trying to get this resolved. AI doesn't help it only says the same thing repeatedly. EBAY YOU NEED TO DO BETTER! How can I report these sellers without a name or no longer in my history? I sent a call request to no avail, twice! I've sent an email they offered on their page, finally, to no avail. How do I get a hold of a human at eBay and how can I get my money back? I am so frustrated I could scream! This is unacceptable customer service! We spend our money here we should be able to talk to someone if we come across a problem that your "help" page does not cover! Again, eBay do better and send me my two refunds.

Could anyone suggest an effective Promoted Listings campaign strategy?

I currently do not have a structured advertising strategy. I am running only one campaign with all of my listings included. While I am getting impressions consistently, the sales are not improving. Could someone recommend a more effective campaign strategy? I would appreciate advice on how to organize campaigns, set ad rates, group listings, and optimize performance to improve conversions and increase sales rather than just generating impressions.

FedEx and EBay knowingly scam

I need help getting a refund is the short story. I bought a camera a few weeks ago, I was told it arrived, it never did. When I try to place a claim with FedEx, they claim the number doesnâ€™t match on the address the seller put, so I canâ€™t open a claim. eBay wonâ€™t do anything, they say that since the seller sent a tracking tag (which is to a random place in the town Iâ€™m from, but only said â€œinsert my town nameâ€, I canâ€™t do anything about it and eBay wonâ€™t refund. This was several hundred dollars, and I really need the funds back. Any recommendations?

Extremely Slow Sales for Toy Trains this Year

Hello All i have been selling toy trains on Ebay for quite awhile now. Lionel, MTH, American Flyer, LGB, etc and i know summer months are usually slow time of the season. This year seems extremely slow and I wondering if any other sellers in this category are experiencing the same issue? I have tried lowering prices, and promotion but itâ€™s not helping too much. Do i just have to wait until fall and winter, just grin and bear it? If anyone has any helpful hints to increase sale's it would be greatly appreciated!

No Regional Seller Community Events?

Are there no regional seller community events this year? Was it Vegas or bust?... Limited space and regional bias precluded many of us from attending the Open in person... Bumber.

Ebay Open 2025 - dress code?

Is there a dress code for eBay Open 2025 Live? I have attended the past virtual eBay Open in my pajamas - I will guess that pjs are not encouraged for the live event. Does anyone know if the conference rooms will be on the cold side? I know Vegas will be incredibly hot outside. I was not sure where to post this question. I appreciate any nice/honest answers.

Sleepless on Ebay ( Maybe it's Time To Move On ?? ) Calling all Vet's in reselling !!

I have three Ebay store's and all of them not selling item's. I have been trying to figure out why everyone else is making sale's but me?. I have a variety of item a cross three store's. I use only sold item listings with the sold similar option. I share my discounted shipping from Ebay with my buyer's. I use calculated shipping with sale's 15% off created on Ebay. I promote all my listings at 6% all I can really afford. I'm a top rated seller with great feed back. I have over 10 pictures in every listing. I use a drop in text in the condition and use the AI to write the description's followed by a drop in text from the conditions area.(same one) My shipping is 30 day free return's with one day handling time. I pay for one large store and two 1,000 item store's. I'm telling you this because I'm desperate for help at this point. I have a family to feed and no time to waste chasing an unachievable goal. "Please", all of you veterans out there that have any advice to cure my situation or offer me option's I would greatly welcome it. My ship is sinking and I have no choice but to run for cover. Doe's Ebay restrict sale's a cross three store's ? Am I thinking too hard about this?? By the way I do have Best offer's on also ! Can we sell on other Ebay platforms around the world and ship from the U.S.A. ?
