The Barbie That Never Was—Who Gets It?

If you could gift someone a custom, one-of-a-kind Barbie at any point in time, who would you give it to—and what would it be?   Maybe it’s for your younger self—the child who longed for a Barbie that never existed. The one that looked like you, dressed like you, reflected the world you knew. The one you secretly wanted but never dared to ask for.   Maybe it’s for someone who never had the chance. A brother, a nephew, a childhood friend—someone who might have loved Barbie if only the world had told them it was okay.   Maybe it’s for someone in the past—a child who never had toys, a girl who dreamed of being a designer but never saw herself in the dolls on the shelves, a person whose story was never told.   Or maybe it’s for someone who needed (or needs) a reminder. A mother who grew up too fast, leaving childhood behind before she was ready. A grandmother who once believed in magic. A person who lost themselves along the way and could use something small, something simple, to remind them of who they were before the world told them who to be.   This gift doesn’t have to be practical. It doesn’t have to make sense.   It just has to matter.   Who gets the doll, and what does it look like?  💗

Annette Himstedt Minou 10 year anniversary (13638) Doll (8 others like it)

Recently, I came into possession of 9 older German dolls. All are in close to perfect condition from a collector I knew. I don't know anything about them except a few receipts from 2013 showing they might be worth $100 to $300 each. I'm trying to find someone interested in buying the lot or specific dolls.   I also don't know if I should just list them on eBay, how to price them, or if I did list them. What tags to use in order to reach the right audience? Any help is appreciated, maybe there's some kind of collectors group someone could point me to?    (Also wont let me add pictures) but identified a couple of the dolls to be...   5 of the "Faces of Friendship a collection by Annette Himstedt Shireen Doll (2725)" 3 of the "The World Child Collection Michiko Doll by Annette Himstedt (1195)" 1 of the "Annette Himstedt Minou 10 year anniversary Puppen Kinder (13638)"

      Help Identifying Antique Doll

I'm looking for information and more details regarding the doll shown in the photos below.  I believe she dates from the 1890-1900 time period based on the birthdate of the original owner.    There are no marks on the head that I can see.  I believe all the hair and clothing are original.  Eyes do not move or "sleep."   She is approximately 18" tall.   In terms of looking for a mark on the back of the head, I unbuttoned the back of the outfit and looked as far down the back as I could.   I've looked with a high intensity led flashlight and I don't see a indented mark or an ink stamp.  The hair/wig is glued on (if that helps at all) .   I don't really want to undress her any further.

      MSD VOLKS "Sakura"

Good Morning,   I have this doll, the box says her name is Sakuyra from Volks  Released: Hometown Dolpa Nagoya 1 (30th September, 2001) I found that this version of Sakura is no longer sold by Volks. My question is, she  doesn't have a plate on the back of her head the only thing it has inside the head is an inscription that says "Little Fair Bada" does anyone know if the old version didn't have a plate on the head? I just want to make sure the doll correspond to the box.
