Help with new sizing listing rules for products with multiple sizes in listing

Hello everyone, I need some advice on handling eBay's new rules for apparel and footwear listings, which now require selecting from their supported size options. What should I do for pants in sizes that eBay doesn’t support, like size 35 (waist)? This is challenging for listings with multiple size variations where buyers select sizes before purchasing. For instance, I sell pants in sizes 34, 35, and 36, but eBay doesn't offer a size 35 option. Their suggestion to pick the nearest available size isn't practical, as it doesn't clarify whether a buyer selecting 34 or 36 genuinely wants size 35. I thought about listing all sizes under "waist size" so that I can fill in custom sizes, but eBay won’t allow me to publish the listing if I leave the regular size box empty. Putting in a random size from the available supported sizes seems like a recipe for confusing customers and possible getting item not described cases opened. Has anyone else faced similar issues, and how are you managing this change? Thanks so much!

Vintage Homeopathic Vials with their original contents (little white 'sugar' pellets)

Hi! I want to list a large lot of vintage homeopathic clear glass vials with paper labels, many still filled with the little white 'sugar' pellets. Should I empty all the vials and list them on eBay, or is the collection worth more with the vials full, in which case I'll have to find another selling outlet other than eBay? Just wondering if the value difference is worth more than the hassle. For example, if their value full is only 10% more than their value empty, I will go ahead and empty them and list them on eBay. Help!

AI descriptions are truly awful

AI descriptions are truly awful Bringing this back, since it really needs to be addressed by ebay. Great fuff filled details, nearly zero value to understand quality, details, true information about the item. Ebay, please correct this. "Accurate" descriptions are KEY to this market. 1 star to ebay, and 1 star to those who use it....without...their own description first Ebay, want to use AI....have AI scan the photos and question the seller, and add to the post...ie, "please commenton the discoloration or the scratches or there seems to be damage to xxx, can you comment."

The category is not valid, select another category.

I'm trying to list an item that does not have a clearly defined Ebay category. I have tried consumer electronics > others and computers & networking > other and both throw the same " The category is not valid, select another category" error. If the category is not valid, why is it offered? File this under the many things Ebay could be focusing on fixing versus changing and implanting things that make it more difficult for sellers to list/sell items.

What if your vehicle does not show as an option to select in "My Garage" or when selling an item?
Does anyone know how to add the correct vehicle to "My Garage" or how to reach out to eBay for assistance in adding the correct model vehicle to the vehicle selection options? I am trying to both search for AND list parts for sale pertaining to a 2016 BMW X6 M, the list of options only includes regular models, an M Sport model, and an "extravange" model (which never existed). But the X6M is not the same as an M Sport (M Sport models are regular models with a few components that look sportier, where as the M model has VERY different components and trim than any of the other models made). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as it can be difficult to search through hundred or thousands of listing without the ability to narrow it down by model.

Could anyone suggest an effective Promoted Listings campaign strategy?

I currently do not have a structured advertising strategy. I am running only one campaign with all of my listings included. While I am getting impressions consistently, the sales are not improving. Could someone recommend a more effective campaign strategy? I would appreciate advice on how to organize campaigns, set ad rates, group listings, and optimize performance to improve conversions and increase sales rather than just generating impressions.

Can I return this iPhone?

If there is a listing for an iPhone that does not say if it’s paid off or not, I get it, and it ends up not being paid off, can I get a refund for that phone? If the seller says it is paid off in the message area on the listing is that the same as him saying it in the description?

AI and too many changes
Why is eBay all of a sudden changing everything involving listing. I wasnâ€™t able to get anything listed yesterday or today because Iâ€™m so terribly frustrated with all the changes. Itâ€™s a total train wreck. I feel I do a much better job with my descriptions than AI since I use the description to list measurements and disclose any flaws. All AI does is write a flowery description that really has nothing at all to do with the condition of the item and I know no buyers who like AI descriptions. Personally, when shopping I skip the items that have AI descriptions because they are meaningless to me. Does anyone know when eBay will settle down and just let us list as usual? And why isnâ€™t eBay talking to sellers about these changes?

Compeditor using duplicate listings to gain unfair advantage

Hello everyone, A competing seller is listing each item 2-3 times. This gives them an unfair advantage for visibility. Is there a more effective way to bring this to ebays attention besides reporting? This is a so called "top rated" seller blatantly violating the duplicate listings policy
