From Top Rated Seller to indefinitely restricted after one delayed shipment

I've been selling on eBay for around two years, with 1,200+ sales, nearly 650 positive feedback ratings and no negative feedback . My Seller Standards were Above Standard, and shortly before this happened I qualified as a Top Rated Seller. Recently, a buyer purchased eight items in one order , all sent together in a single tracked package. I dispatched it within my handling time, but after reaching the destination country, tracking stopped updating for almost three weeks. The buyer eventually opened an Item Not Received case. With eBay's deadline approaching and the carrier unable to resolve the delay in time, I refunded the buyer rather than let the case escalate and have eBay step in. Ironically, tracking started moving again the following day, and the package was delivered shortly afterwards. My BBE dashboard subsequently showed: Seller Fault Unfulfilled: 9/292 — 3.1% Market average: 0.9% Eight of those nine transactions were the eight items from that single order and shipment. The ninth was an unrelated INR transaction that I refunded separately. This is the part I don't understand. The package was dispatched on time with tracking and the original case was INR, yet all eight items appeared as separate Seller Fault Unfulfilled transactions. Meanwhile, my regular Seller Standards remained Above Standard , with 0.00% transaction defects, 0.00% late shipments and 0.00% cases closed without seller resolution. My selling privileges were subsequently restricted due to my BBE performance. I've contacted Customer Service several times, appealed the restriction and repeatedly asked for the underlying circumstances to be reviewed. I've now been told that the appeal was denied, the decision is final, my selling privileges are restricted indefinitely, and Customer Service will not review it again. I understand that 9/292 equals 3.1%. What I don't understand is how one delayed package containing eight items could produce eight Seller Fault Unfulfilled transactions and contribute to an indefinite restriction after an otherwise very strong selling history. I've seen a few reports of sellers managing to get supposedly final restrictions reviewed or reversed, although they appear to be rare. What I'm really trying to determine now is whether there is any legitimate escalation or review route left once Customer Service and the normal appeal process have been exhausted . If anyone knows of a specific route, department or process that can actually review a decision like this, I would be extremely grateful for the information. I'm not looking to circumvent eBay's rules or simply keep submitting the same appeal — I just want to know whether there is still a genuine way to have the underlying circumstances reviewed, or whether an indefinite restriction at this stage truly means there is nothing further I can do.

Need help: Damaged UPS shipment with eBay label stuck in shipping loop. UPS says only eBay can file claim.

Need help: Damaged UPS shipment with eBay label stuck in shipping loop. UPS says only eBay can file claim. I'm hoping someone has dealt with this before because I've spent days going back and forth between UPS and eBay without any resolution. I sold a Pride Go-Go mobility scooter and purchased the shipping label through eBay. The package was damaged in transit before it could be delivered to the buyer. The problem is that the package has been bouncing between Florida and Texas for over a week. It keeps showing "Out for Delivery," then "Returning to Sender," then ends up in another UPS facility. Neither the buyer nor I have been able to inspect the damage because it never actually arrives anywhere. My return address has changed since the label was created. UPS has repeatedly told me they cannot change the return address because the label was purchased through eBay and eBay is listed as the shipper. They also tell me I cannot file a damage claim because the shipment is restricted, and I receive the following error: "Unfortunately we cannot process your claim. The sender has restricted claims for this package. Please reach out to them directly for assistance. (UPS:E022)" UPS has told me multiple times that eBay must initiate the claim or otherwise authorize it. The problem is that eBay support keeps sending me back to the UPS claims website, which immediately rejects the claim with the error above. I've now contacted eBay several times and have received conflicting answers from different representatives. One says to file with UPS, UPS says only eBay can do it, and another eBay representative suggested refunding the buyer without addressing the damaged shipment or insurance claim. The buyer has been very patient throughout this process, and I want to make sure they receive a full refund. I also need to recover the value of the damaged item through the shipping insurance, but I'm currently stuck because neither company will take ownership of the claim. Has anyone successfully resolved a situation like this with an eBay shipping label? Specifically: How did you get eBay to actually file or escalate the UPS damage claim? Is there a department or phone number that handles restricted UPS claims purchased through eBay? Has anyone dealt with a package endlessly cycling between UPS facilities after being marked damaged? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. At this point I just need someone to take ownership of the claim instead of being sent back and forth between UPS and eBay.

Buyer requested delaying shipping for two weeks.

My buyer asked if I would delay shipping for two weeks. Will that jeopardize my funds?

I had recently purchased an MX master 4 logitech ebay, after much issue with shipping -seller sent package under wrong name of Erin Corbin leaving me unable to pick up from FedEx pick up and leaving my item in Fed Ex package for two weeks- during which that seller pulled their listing and is arguing about refdunding me even thought the item I was sent does not match the original listing. To add more oddity to the situation I am unable to find anyone I can contact regarding this disput now that it has been resolved. What do I do? Is their someone I can regarding this purchase out of staples store next state over or I am just screwed? I have been using this site for years and I am somewhat savy with the ins/outs of its operations but am unable to get any results on this issue, what do I do next?

Is it possible to request a courtesy review of expired transaction defects?

Hello everyone, I am looking for guidance from experienced sellers and any eBay moderators who may be able to provide advice. I currently have several historical transaction defects on my account, primarily: • Out-of-stock cancellations • One case closed without seller resolution These defects occurred between July and December 2025 and are now outside the standard appeal window. Since then, I have significantly improved my inventory management and fulfillment processes and have had no similar issues. I understand that the defects were valid at the time and I am not disputing that they occurred. However, I am wondering whether eBay ever grants courtesy reviews or exceptions for older defects when a seller has demonstrated improved performance and compliance. Has anyone successfully had historical defects reviewed or removed after the appeal period expired? If so: • Which department did you contact? • What information did you provide? • Was Seller Performance able to assist? I appreciate any advice or experiences you can share. My goal is to ensure my account reflects my current performance as a seller. Thank you.

      Authentication Wait Time Watches

Hello -- I bought an item on Sept 18, it arrived at Authenticator on Sept 20, and now nothing.  EBay should have some sort of status, once at authenticator... not just who sold it.  So what stage, processing, package review, package authenticated, package status update, package sent, tracking number on route?     Currently, I have no idea what is going on. Just says delivered, to the authenticator.     What can a buyer do?

      Buyer Requests delay in shipping

We have a buyer who has paid for an item and requested that the shipment to be delayed / sent after the "Ship By" date. We don't want this to look like a late shipment. How do we contact ebay to avoid the late shipment on our reporting?
