Week 7 still not a single word

EBAY’S VERO PROGRAM IS A TOTAL SCAM THAT PROTECTS INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY THIEVES AND DROPSHIP FRAUD 🚨If you are an independent creator, author, or business owner trying to protect your copyrighted work, be warned: eBay does not care about federal copyright law, consumer protection, or intellectual property theft. Their system is completely broken, intentionally fraudulent, and designed to shield predatory scammers while completely stonewalling legitimate rights owners.Right now, bad-faith actors and automated scrapers are actively pirating my entire catalog of books, listing my stolen property for sale on eBay without my permission. To resolve this, I attempted to use eBay’s official legal channel—the VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) Program. What followed is a staggering display of corporate incompetence and negligence:THE DEAD EMAIL DECEPTION: On the 3rd of the month, eBay support officially directed me to submit my formal copyright takedown notices via email. After sending multiple urgent legal messages over a 6-week period and receiving absolute radio silence, I dug into the actual updates online. It turns out eBay completely stopped actively monitoring and processing that exact inbox on the 1st of the month—TWO DAYS BEFORE THEIR OWN SUPPORT STAFF TOLD ME TO USE IT. They literally handed me a dead, unmonitored mailbox to send my legal complaints to, effectively burying my reports while thieves actively profit off my hard work on their platform for over a month and a half.EXPLICIT CONSUMER FRAUD AND 4X PRICE-GOUGING: These automated parasites aren’t just stealing my intellectual property—they are actively price-gouging my readers. These scrapers are listing my books on eBay at four times their actual value. They are running a predatory dropshipping scam where they trap unsuspecting fans into paying insane markups for a book they don't even own yet. They wait for a sale, buy my book at normal price off my authentic storefront, and pocket a massive profit while dragging my reputation through the mud.THE 10-DAY SHIPPING LIE EXPOSED BY MY OWN BACKEND DATA: These fraudulent sellers are explicitly lying to consumers by claiming they hold "available physical inventory" of my books. I know for a fact they don't, because my publisher sales dashboards prove that zero copies of these books have ever been shipped to their operational locations. To cover up this dropshipping scam, they force buyers to wait a minimum of 10 days for shipping, hiding behind the ridiculous lie that it's for "payment processing." Payment processing takes seconds online. In reality, they are using that 10-day window to wait for a buyer to fall for their 4x price-gouging markup, order the book from my authentic storefront, and wait for standard retail shipping to deliver it. They are using false advertising to manipulate shipping metrics, and eBay’s dead VeRO compliance inbox is actively protecting this fraudulent racket. By ignoring formal copyright notifications and leaving a defunct, dead mailbox active for legal reports, eBay loses its safe harbor protections under federal law. They are actively facilitating massive consumer fraud, systemic copyright infringement, and digital piracy on a corporate scale.TO THE EXECUTIVES RUNNING EBAY:Your support staff is handing out obsolete information, your VeRO division is completely MIA, and you are actively facilitating copyright infringement and consumer mail fraud by making it impossible for independent authors to submit takedown notices. Fix your platform, escalate my tickets to a human supervisor in the Intellectual Property Division immediately, and delete these fraudulent, scraped listings. I am entirely done being ignored.

I need the email to file a complaint against a seller

To eBay Customer Support & Trust & Safety Team, I am filing a formal complaint regarding severe off-platform misconduct, discrimination, and harassment by the user/business operating as Salem Techsperts . Following an interaction originating on or connected to eBay (This interaction went on upon Discord in the company's Discord), I was subjected to targeted hate, defamation, and discrimination regarding my Cherokee heritage and identity. eBay’s User Agreement and Offensive Behavior Policies strictly prohibit members from engaging in discrimination, hate speech, or off-site harassment derived from platform interactions. I request that eBay: Open a Trust & Safety investigation into Salem Techsperts regarding these policy violations. Review all associated message threads and evidence of off-site conduct. Apply appropriate account sanctions, up to and including suspension or termination of their selling privileges.

High-Value Return Fraud: 40-Lb Weight Discrepancy Ignored & Unfair Negative Balance

"I am looking for advice or insight from other sellers who have dealt with high-value return fraud. Completely unacceptable. I was left with an unfair negative balance of $6,000 because eBay completely ignored a documented 40-pound weight discrepancy on a fraudulent return. I shipped 78 lbs of high-value industrial inventory, and the buyer manipulated the return to send back a fraction of that weight. Instead of investigating actual mail fraud and grand larceny, support hid behind automated delivery scans and dismissed an official federal IC3 cybercrime report as 'having nothing to do with eBay.' Offering a tiny fee credit while sticking a seller with thousands in losses due to platform-enabled fraud is disgraceful. Has anyone else successfully fought a negative balance when carriers and tracking data proved a massive weight shortage? Any advice on next steps would be greatly appreciated."

Scam alert. Complaint Regarding Misrepresented Coin Lot Sold by *** *** *** Live Auction on eBay

On June 16, 2026, I participated in a live auction conducted by *** *** *** on eBay and purchased more than $1,600 worth of coins. One of the items I purchased was advertised as a set of Chinese gold coins spanning the years 2003 through 2007. After receiving the coins, I sought professional evaluations to verify their value. The first dealer informed me that the set was worth approximately $500, significantly less than the amount I paid. Concerned by this assessment, I obtained opinions from two additional coin professionals, and both independently arrived at similar valuations. During one of these evaluations, a dealer also noted that the display case shown and described during the auction did not accurately match the coins contained within it. Upon closer inspection and magnification, it appeared that all of the coins in the set were dated 2007, contrary to the representation that the collection consisted of coins from multiple years between 2003 and 2007. I contacted eBay regarding my concerns and was advised that I first needed to communicate directly with the seller before eBay could review the matter. I promptly attempted to resolve the issue with the seller. While the seller initially responded, the communication was delayed and ultimately ceased altogether without any meaningful resolution being offered. Based on the facts outlined above, I believe this item was materially misrepresented during the live auction. I am requesting that eBay thoroughly investigate this transaction, review the auction recording and product description, and determine whether the seller has engaged in a pattern of misleading representations. I am also requesting appropriate corrective action, including a refund and any enforcement measures eBay deems necessary to protect future buyers. As a collector and customer, I believe marketplace integrity depends on accurate product descriptions and honest representations. I hope eBay will fully review this matter and take the appropriate steps to ensure that other buyers do not experience similar issues.

      Failed Delivery - Unresponsive Seller

I am completely frustrated by a seller who refuses to communicate with me about the status of an item order on May 20, 2026. Additionally, the seller constantly changes the estimated delivery date. Ebay states I have past the refund request date. Finally, the seller continues to sell items on Ebay. My reason for buying many photographic items on Ebay over the last 6 weeks is for a group of summer campers who are interested in learning photography. This one purchase will not stop me from helping the campers; I just want to find an alternative way to communicate with Ebay customer service.

Adult magazine listings removed despite censoring images to comply with eBay policy – what am I missing?

Recently, several of my listings have been removed from eBay in accordance with their Adult Items Policy. I took considerable care to ensure compliance by editing the preview images such that no explicit content, such as nipples, areolas, or private parts, was visible. After reviewing their policy thoroughly, I believed my listings adhered to the guidelines. Upon removal of a listing, eBay cites the Adult Items Policy but fails to specify the exact infraction. This has left me quite perplexed, despite my concerted efforts to modify covers and images appropriately, my listings continue to be taken down. I am reaching out to see if others have faced similar challenges recently. Is there an unpublicized rule or a new enforcement mechanism that might be eluding us? I would greatly appreciate insights from anyone who has successfully listed similar items without removal. What strategies have proven effective for you? My intention is not to seek loopholes—I genuinely wish to adhere to eBay’s rules. I would welcome any advice or tips from fellow sellers on how to navigate these regulations more effectively. Furthermore, I am curious to know if those successfully selling vintage adult magazines on eBay are encountering similar issues—is your content remaining listed, or do you experience removals despite thorough censorship? I am trying to ascertain whether this is an isolated incident or a broader issue related to policy enforcement.

      NEED HELP CANT WITHDRAW FUNDS

I have a restriction on my account that prevents me from withdrawing. I have attempted to contact multiple agents who tell me they cannot find any restrictions and that I should be able to withdraw. However, everyone keeps hanging up on me or keeps transferring me. This has been going on for a week and the message I get is “Your payouts are currently on hold because your eBay account is restricted. You'll start getting paid again when your account is reinstated.” i’m tired of going through this in this loop and I just need assistance on what to do here. I just want my funds. The only thing I can think of is, I recently won a appeal from a buyer who claimed I sent the incorrect item which I did didn’t they had me sign a declaration page and that was the end of it. The funds were released back to me, but all of a sudden this happens please someone help.

      MARKETING AND ADVERTISING

I have been using marketing, but I am an individual not a store so I can't afford for any item to be at 12%. I put in no more than 10% on anything because if I do it eats up all of my profit. After putting in the percentage after clicking off it changes to a higher amount on its own. I just sold an item for $100 after the 12% that it is taking all on its own because I put 10%, I now have given the item away for free, but marketing and eBay still made a profit. How do I stop that from happening? I love eBay, marketing and for giving me an easy platform, but come on! I have been wondering if marketing was worth it?

Listing Stuck on Account, I can't end or delete it.

Listing # 406732484207 is stuck on my account. The item is out of stock and I can't delete it or end the listing and it keeps telling me "1 listing could not be ended." whenever I try to end the listing. I can't edit the listing, either, and it's been stuck like this for several months. How do I get rid of it, or contact the eBay staff directly so they can assist me and remove it from my account?
