      Order didn’t arrive

My order says that it was delivered on Saturday, August 1, and the tracking information says that it was delivered to a mailbox. I don’t have a mailbox, and neither do my neighbors. I already reported it to the seller, but they said they won’t help me and that I have to talk to eBay. eBay isn’t helping me either, and I don’t know what to do. I have videos of my front door showing that nobody showed up on Saturday or the following days, and it was almost a $100 purchase.

Pixel 8 arrived DOA - Can't return it

I bought a eBay refurbished Google Pixel 8 "Good" condition from a certified seller with 99.3% feedback and over 6,000 sales. I'm an international buyer living in Venezuela, so physically returning the item to the US is extremely difficult and costly for me, nearly impossible in practice. When it arrived, the phone won't turn on under any circumstance, I left it charging for several hours with different chargers and cables with zero signs of life (no screen, no vibration, no warmth). On top of that, there are loose internal components rattling when I move the phone. I opened a return request (reason: "Item defective") , and I messaged the seller explaining everything in detail, specifically asking them to issue a full refund without requiring me to ship the item back , given how defective it arrived and the real difficulty I have sending it back internationally. I haven't heard back from the seller yet. Any recommendations for this case?

Return Deadline Is Approaching Because My Case Can't Be Escalated

I am requesting immediate assistance because I am unable to complete or escalate my return due to what appears to be a system issue. I purchased a set of items that were significantly different from how they were described and what I was told I would receive. During our conversations, I specifically requested a particular size, and after the purchase the seller admitted they could not actually produce it. The seller stated: "The length of the black Gengar that you requested can only be produced with that height, because the printing quality would be distorted. I apologize for not clarifying that sooner." Based on the circumstances, eBay approved my return request. The official return case states: "The seller let us know they sent a return label for your item. If you haven't received it, contact the seller. Make sure to ship the item back and add the tracking details by Aug. 3. Once your item is delivered, you can expect a refund within 3 business days." However, the seller never provided any return shipping label through eBay Messages, email, or any other method. Instead, the seller directly told me: "Unfortunately, if returns are initiated, the buyer would have to pay for the shipping label." This directly contradicts what eBay has told me. The eBay Assistant states: "I see that the seller accepted your return. They're responsible for return shipping costs. You'll receive a return shipping label from either eBay or the seller in your Messages and email with all the details of your return request." The seller is refusing to provide the label while simultaneously telling eBay that one has already been sent. Because of that, my return has become stuck in an impossible situation: eBay has determined that the seller is responsible for return shipping. The seller claims they already sent a return label, but no label has ever been provided. The seller is now no longer responding to my messages. The "Ask eBay to Step In" button, which should have become available, has still not appeared. I cannot purchase my own label because that would contradict eBay's return decision and could jeopardize my reimbursement. The return deadline continues to get closer even though I have been prevented from completing the return through no fault of my own. After I started having this issue, I reviewed the seller's recent negative feedback. I found multiple buyers reporting experiences that are very similar to mine, including: Sellers claiming a return label was sent when buyers never received one. Sellers refusing to provide a return shipping label after a return was approved. Items that were significantly different from the listing or described as counterfeit or low quality. Listings stating the item shipped from California when buyers reported it actually originated in China. Sellers stopping communication once a problem was reported. One feedback comment even states: "They also did not provide a return shipping label for this purchase and I basically got stuck keeping this." Another says: "The email said they sent a return label which I have not received." These comments made me realize that my situation may not be an isolated incident. I also attempted to resolve this through the eBay Assistant. However, because the seller indicated that a label was supposedly sent, the Assistant only tells me to check for the label and does not provide any way to escalate the case despite the fact that no label exists. In addition, I have been unable to receive callback phone calls from eBay. Although support indicates they have attempted to call me, my phone never rings, leaving me unable to resolve this issue by telephone. At this point, I have done everything required of me as the buyer. I am being prevented from returning the item because the seller has not fulfilled their obligation to provide the return shipping label, while the system also prevents me from asking eBay to step in. I respectfully request that eBay manually review this case, verify that no return shipping label has actually been provided, confirm that the seller is responsible for return shipping, protect my buyer rights, and ensure that I receive my refund without being penalized because of a system or process failure that is outside of my control.

      Lots of Red Flags...

Some buyers never cease to amaze me with their lies and entitlement. But, they, I did give them something: A free trip to my BBL. Also, people look like idiots when they copy and paste whatever an AI tells them. Please, buyers and sellers, don't do that. Use your brain. Do your own research. Think for yourself. Learn AI's limits, what it does, and what it does not do. For the record, the item they are asking about is new old stock, sealed in the box. It's also a little underpriced for that model and condition.

Inactive Seller - afraid to purchase and not be sent the item.

I’ve been messaging this seller for weeks and she has not responded to ask of my questions regarding the only item she has listed. I’ve also sent her offers to catch her attention but unfortunately she has ignored them as well. At this point, I don’t feel safe ordering this item as I’m afraid it won’t be sent to me. Is there a way for eBay to be involved in contacting her about the item she’s listed? Thanks in advance!

      Ebay search is broken

The search feature has been broken for several weeks. Whatever I search for returns items that I've previously viewed already. It makes finding anything new impossible. Is there any way to fix this?

Buyer wants to change his shipping address after I already printed the label

Buyer sent me a message stating he made a mistake and wants to change his shipping address after I already printed the label. I have not taken the package to the shipper yet. But I am aware to use caution when a buyer wants to change the address. What should I do? Here is the message the buyer sent just now : "One thing: I did make a mistake, and I know that your listing tried to foresee and prevent it. The shipping address is currently set to an address I lived at last year, which is just down the street from me. I checked my eBay profile address in advance, which is my current address, but I didn't realize that's different from the default shipping address it selects at checkout. With another eBay UPS package, I was able to change the delivery address or have them hold it at the UPS store for me to pick up with ID.On this package for the Vision Pro, I noticed that those abilities are restricted by the shipper. I'm sorry about that mistake. I know your listing did say to double check that we had the right shipping address set. If you are able to lift those restrictions on the UPS settings for this package, I would like to try to pay to have the delivery address changed by UPS and not you. If this isn't possible at all, I'm currently trying to mitigate by going to knock on the door of the current resident there and seeing if UPS will accept the “deliver to my neighbor” setting using my new address."

eBay Leadership Should be in prison

eBay is closing a company it owns and firing workers for organizing a union. After 600 days of no communication, they announced they were shutting down the TCGPlayer facility in Syracuse and firing over 600 workers. They have since hired security guards to patrol this facility to intimidate the remaining workers. eBay's executives should be in prison for the mistreatment of these workers and the clear disregard for their right to organize in the US. Don't let eBay have a single penny of your money.
