Seeking assistance from someone very knowledgeable about Civil War & Black Americana Photos 1860-189
We have several collections of Black Americana and Civil War items that we have acquired over the years and have started to research them to list on ebay. They are from several different estate collections and cover over 1000 photos and related items. Approximately 60% are of African Americans in uniform.... also a few related items (black politicias, leaders etc). The vast majority of them were taken / created between 1860-1890. If you are very knowledgeable on the subject and have time to help, we would appreciate the assistance. To give you an idea of the type of questions we are dealing with, we have included a photo of one of the items. It is a CDV Extract from the Reconstructed Constitution of the State of Louisiana from 1865. Does anyone know of past sales of it either on ebay or elsewhere?
