Does ebay charge a fee to add "best offer" to listing?
I didn't see anything on the "fees" info page, but thought I'd better make sure. Does ebay charge an additional fee if I add "best offer" to my "buy it now" listing?

Could anyone suggest an effective Promoted Listings campaign strategy?

I currently do not have a structured advertising strategy. I am running only one campaign with all of my listings included. While I am getting impressions consistently, the sales are not improving. Could someone recommend a more effective campaign strategy? I would appreciate advice on how to organize campaigns, set ad rates, group listings, and optimize performance to improve conversions and increase sales rather than just generating impressions.

Tips to increase eBay sales

My listings have attractive images that can catch buyers' attention, and I have optimized the titles and descriptions carefully. However, even after making the listings active, I receive very few views. I don't want to use paid advertising, but I still want to generate sales organically. Could any please suggest effective ways to increase visibility and sales without advertising?

"Buyer wants to shop more."? Ohhh, eBay. Such a comedian these days. Wow.

Um, yea. Oh, hey there lil' seller. My buyer wants to shop a little more, umm, k? Only 7 days or so. OK, thanks Seller. - the worlds BIGGEST marketplace even the way it's written says 'eBay snotty'. "Buyer wants to shop morrrrre". OK there, eBay. Wow Buyer won an auction. Apparently some 'beta' program that who/when/why/how guy, buyer, scammer was opted into has reared it's ugly head again and I'm the lucky seller this time around? Yea baby. Can someone please enlighten me on this. Small sale, but wow eBay, wow. Just more stand up comedy from the 'world's largest marketplace'. Unreal. This is the 2nd time I've seen this. First time around, the buyer didn't pay (yep, after 7 days). Had to re-auction the item and it sold for over 25% less - just a mere ~$45 ish loss 15 days later. Oh, and yea - unable to leave the a buyer negative feedback - that's right. Someone has got to start getting this stuff out on X or find a fun, creative way to have a good time with this comical nonsense. Borderline criminal.. definitely disrespectful, yet again. Please, can someone please enlighten me? Perhaps, not with the token corporate pompom's? Day after day, after day... selling on here just keeps getting more and more bizarre. Buyer wants to shop more lol. Wow.

Best Offer Timer Extension - Seller Announcement

What's Changing Starting March 24th 2026, buyers in the US and UK will have 96 hours (4 days) to respond to a seller’s counteroffer on a Best Offer, up from the current 24 hour window. This change aligns with the Seller-initiated offer timer which was extended in 2024. Key Details Previous timer: 24 hours New timer: 96 hours (4 days) Effective date: March 24th 2026 Markets affected: US and UK only Why This Change Matters The extended response window gives buyers additional time to make decisions, which can lead to: Higher acceptance rates for offers Increase completed sales Better buyer experience and engagement Reduced missed opportunities from expired offers What You Need to Do No action required. This change will be automatically applied to all Best Offer listings in the US and UK markets starting mid-March 2026. Your existing Best Offer settings and pricing strategies will remain unchanged. Frequently Asked Questions Q: Will this affect my current active Best Offers? A: Offers active during the rollout will continue under the 24-hour timer. New offers created after mid-March will automatically use the 96-hour timer. Q: Can I opt out or customize the timer duration? A: No, the 96-hour timer will be the standard for all Best Offer listings in US and UK markets. Q: Will this change apply to other markets? A: Currently, this update is only for US and UK markets. Additional markets may be considered in the future. Q: Will I still be notified when a buyer responds to my offer? I saw an ad which I want to buy but the selling price is so low compared to others . Seller joined eBay on the 5th of this month. His item does not cover money guarantee on eBay . No remarks also . Does this make the seller a scammer? please help me

Freight Forwarding Address Scam in Portland, OR 97250

Here is my response to eBay/ Posted here for Information Only Dear eBay, I am disputing this alleged buyer claiming he does not recognize this purchase due to, I believe I am a victim of fraud. The address listed for the buyer appears to be a freight forwarding business (confirmed by Googlemaps) that pays the United States Postal Service to keep/ hold their (70 plus packages) at the post office so they can pick them up as a bundle all at one time. This bulk pickup can cause the USPS tracking system not to record proof if the package was delivered. (Not Scanned due to many packages being picked up at the same time) Please review the attachments included with my email and google the delivery address. I am confident, I am not the only seller victim of this scam. eBay please investigate and contact the Portland, OR 97250 Post Office for additional information concerning bulk package pickup from this address. (Just imagine for a moment, the buyer picks up 100 packages and ZERO or just the first couple boxes are scanned) What a racket, USPS Police may need to investigate. How many sellers opt not to dispute the charge back. These buyer are receiving thousands of free merchandise a month. What a scam! I believe this buyer is committing fraud. I have reached out to the buyer at least on two separate occasions before he or she filed the dispute informing him the package was in Portland, Oregon, however, no response. Why did the buyer wait over 30 days to file a dispute? This delay is most likely done to create difficulties in tracking or proofing delivery. Suspicious in my opinion. Your eBay community pages has numerous articles pertaining to scams similar to this. Please investigate the buyer, his cell phone, his business address and home address. All the above have activity on google.

Offers I received, but wasn't aware.

Today, I noticed (and I can't even tell you where I saw it exactly) in my seller hub that I had received offers on items from potential buyers that I didn't receive messages or emails in reference to those. How am I to know if someone makes an offer that I didn't send out? I know there were at least 6 and everyone I would have accepted. Thank you for your time. Monica Good
