Needing some expertise on this item. Was recently purchased and the Seller’s description is not accurate with regard to condition, wondering if the error significantly decreases its value, or if it is still valuable enough to keep as-is. Royal Worcester for Tiffany Ewer with dark green backstamp. Purchased for $140 incl. tax and shipping. Looks as though the bottom was cracked and then somehow re-glazed and painted over at some point in time? Typically the 1867-1890 dark green RW backstamps have the Capital letter underneath the symbol to represent the manufacture year, but you can see this is partially covered now also, so it’s hard to confirm exact year (possibly ‘U’ or ‘V’?). (Seller’s description stated - “It is in excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs there are a few smudges as shown.â€)
