Single Same Item Sold Twice to Separate Buyers

Bottom line, after a great deal of sleuthing, I've discovered that an item was sold to a buyer, paid for, and shipped, after the very same item was already sold, paid for, and shipped to another buyer. Ebay "resolved" the issue based on the second buyer's message that they "did not receive their item" as denied and no appeal possible. My mistake that I sent the wrong item. Buyer's "mistake" that they used the "did not receive item" instead of clarifying that they received the wrong item. (Likely due to the few "select" choices). Somehow, the same Ebay item remained listed even after it sold. Help! How can I resolve this? I want to refund my second buyer and do not want them to be charged for return shipping. Is there a way to work with Customer Service after a closed Appeal?

They say I didn’t ship an item, but the tracking info was already submitted into the system.

I am a seller. I was late to ship a package, but me and the buyer talked and I explained my situation, and I shipped out the comic books. Just right now they sent me a email saying that they couldn’t find proof that IYou could click on the tracking and see that it was scanned and everything and that it is on the way. They took $300 from me, and the buyer will get the item. Here is the tracking info: 9400108106245415052380 What more proof do they need?

High-Value Return Fraud: 40-Lb Weight Discrepancy Ignored & Unfair Negative Balance

I am looking for advice or insight from other sellers who have dealt with high-value return fraud. This customer service experience was completely unacceptable. I was left with an unfair negative balance of $6,000 because eBay completely ignored a documented 40-pound weight discrepancy on a fraudulent return. I shipped 78 lbs of high-value industrial inventory, and the buyer manipulated the return to send back a fraction of that weight. Instead of investigating actual mail fraud and grand larceny, support hid behind automated delivery scans and dismissed an official federal IC3 cybercrime report as 'having nothing to do with eBay.' Offering a tiny fee credit while sticking a seller with thousands in losses due to platform-enabled fraud is disgraceful. Has anyone else successfully fought a negative balance when carriers and tracking data proved a massive weight shortage? Any advice on next steps would be greatly appreciated.

9-Year Above Standard\Top Rated Seller Permanently Restricted Due to Automated BBE Filter Glitch. Need Advice/Mentor Help

Hello fellow sellers and mentors, I am writing to this community in a state of complete devastation, hoping to get some advice or guidance from experienced members. Recently, my 9-year-old active shop, "EmbroideriesShop" (which specializes in unique, high-quality handmade embroidery and patches), was hit with an automatic, indefinite selling restriction due to a BBE (Bad Buyer Experience) policy violation. When I contacted customer support, the agents sent template responses stating that my seller-fault defect rate rose to 12.01% and that the restriction was applied automatically by the system, leaving them with no technical ability to restore my account manually.

However, looking at my actual, objective metrics, this decision is an absolute mathematical anomaly: Top Rated Seller Badge: I hold the official "Top Rated Seller" badge multiple times with 100% positive buyer feedback . 9-Year History: I have successfully sold over 4,400 items and gathered 999 followers . Impeccable Service Metrics: My Item Not as Described defect rate is 0.00% (0 out of 190 transactions). My Item Not Received rate is only 0.53% (1 out of 187 transactions). The Cause of the Spike: The 12.01% defect rate spike occurred solely because of a single order cancellation during a short, low-volume sales month. This cancellation was due to a system glitch on my discount settings, which I have since completely fixed. How can a 9-year-old store with an active Top Rated badge and 100% feedback be permanently banned over a single transaction defect? The automated BBE filter completely ignored my flawless decade-long record, treating me as a high-risk seller. Since customer support agents claim they cannot bypass the automated decision, I am completely stuck. Has anyone experienced a similar automatic BBE ban on an established account? Is there a specific department, executive email, or legal path I can take to get a human being at eBay to manually look at these flawless metrics? I have attached my redacted metrics dashboard for reference. Any advice, guidance, or moderator escalation would be deeply appreciated. Thank you so much for your time and help. Best regards, Max EmbroideriesShop

      Managing Sensitivity in Product Listings

With the increasing diversity of products on platforms like eBay, how should companies manage listings that might contain content considered sensitive or inappropriate by different audiences? For example, sometimes users report listings showing images or descriptions they find offensive or misleading, such as sexual imagery. How should these issues be addressed while respecting seller freedom and buyer protection? Share your thoughts and experiences on finding the right balanceaaa.

Denied Defect & Restriction: Ethiopia to USA Hub Delay via Qatar Cargo Route

Hello Community Managers. My seller account was restricted due to transaction defects caused by international cargo disruptions completely outside my control. I ship packages out of Ethiopia to buyers in the USA. My carrier routes all North American freight directly through the Qatar Cargo Hub, which is suffering severe regional flight groundings. Frontline email support repeatedly denied my appeals because they only looked at the final destination country (USA), failing to see the physical transit hub bottleneck. Tracking shows my packages were accepted by the carrier in Ethiopia on time. Please help escalate this to a trust specialist to manually review my tracking routes and lift this restriction. @devon@ebay @kyle@ebay

      NEED HELP CANT WITHDRAW FUNDS

I have a restriction on my account that prevents me from withdrawing. I have attempted to contact multiple agents who tell me they cannot find any restrictions and that I should be able to withdraw. However, everyone keeps hanging up on me or keeps transferring me. This has been going on for a week and the message I get is “Your payouts are currently on hold because your eBay account is restricted. You'll start getting paid again when your account is reinstated.” i’m tired of going through this in this loop and I just need assistance on what to do here. I just want my funds. The only thing I can think of is, I recently won a appeal from a buyer who claimed I sent the incorrect item which I did didn’t they had me sign a declaration page and that was the end of it. The funds were released back to me, but all of a sudden this happens please someone help.
